Other than lectoring at 11:30 Mass, my schedule is open
Town carnival and fireworks are this evening.

Rain has come back in today .... hoping for sun tomorrow!

Today:
make two cards
finish what didn't get done yesterday: Mall, return to BedBath&Beyond, PO

friends coming tonight for visit and then Aubrey is spending the night with Megan!
hope to get somemore scrapping or swapping done at some point today/tonight

morning all

actuallly slept till almost 7 (woke at 5:30 and refused to get up) feels good

today is hay equipment moving day. done with the field that is a swamp and on to 2 others that will be round baled. square baler is headed for the shop Tom has given up on the fix hard to believe.

fireworks to night in one of the villages with friends. then parade and bbq tomorrow.

Two parties today. Yesterday I spent all morning in the kitchen preparing - made a huge, low carb friendly broccoli salad, and a red white and blue cheese cake. Both of them will get divided and part carried to each party. I figure if I slice the cake and surround the slices with blue berries, it will be an effective presentation and not look skimpy.

Finished the wedding, thank goodness - I am SO over it. Shower favors, wedding favors, "Things to do" lists and welcome letters for the hotel bags. Doesn't sound like much on a list, but was at least 60 hours work. I think the M.O.B will be glad when it's over, too.

Now, i've started a "Bride's little book of prewedding memories" for another bride - the shower is August 6th.

Nothing much planned for today since I have to work. It was really busy in the store yesterday so today will probably be the same way. I definitely didn't have time to get bored what with running from one side of the store to the other. When a customer asks where something is, it's never just a couple of aisles away, it's always on the other side of the store so I end up walking circles around the store all day and getting my exercise!

No big plans for the day. Morgan and DH slept in a tent in the backyard last night (well, I think slept is a stretch, they came in at 5:20 this morning). I stayed in bed late this morning. It was nice to get a little extra sleep.

Supposed to get thunder storms later, so I may try to get to the pool early. Yesterday was just beautiful, low humidity, nice and warm, but breezy too. Now I know how the other half lives

Driving to Albany NY to look at an RV, driving through Carolines neighborhood now. So, beep and wave Caroline!!!

After that I don't know what we are doing. I hope the rain gives way though.

cleaning
finish last 2 loads of laundry
DS15 to finialize his rabbit poster (needs to print labels and explanations)
DD & I will work on her conusmer clothing notebook (scrapbook) 12 pages
DD & I will take photos of her consumer clothing outfit
decide on sketches and photos from May 2011 & June 2011 (this will bring me back current)
all need photos to order in a special folder so they are ready to upload (CVS has 10 cent prints)
town for a few more errands (must buys for an upcoming event)
DsS20 will be over for dinner tonight
journal on some pages I have in a stack (goal 15 of them tonight)
decide on plans for tomorrow... lots of free choices tomorrow...

Missed the festivities Caroline, trying to follow the road in the rain. I'm hoping this nastiness clears up before we get to Albany but it's not looking promising.
If I had known we were heading out earlier I would have given Linda a shout, but it doesn't surprise me the social butterfly has plans! She's always on the go!
Next time I'll try to connect with both of you. If we end up getting the RV we'll have to come back for it anyway.

talk about getting a new car. DH's tranny went Thursday.
paint rocking chairs and porch
Farmer's Market
Out to lunch with friends
finish painting front porch
maybe work on the layout challenge. I feel pressure on the back side.
