My list is short today, but it'll be a busy day!

put stuff together for class
work - I get to reset the scrapbooking stickers today!!!
run across street to mall for a quick dinner
teach class

Some of you asked to see a picture of the rocking horse I made for a sample at Michaels. Here he is!! It's not the color scheme I would have chosen (even though it looks better than I thought) but I was trying to following the project sheet as closely as possible so as not to confuse any customers.

I put some homemade weed killer on the stuff invading my yard from the neighbors last night.. I'm anxious to see how it works... FIL used it by his workshop and it did great...

Morning all!!! No time to recover from the whirlwind trip to the Big Apple. Loads to do this week and I need to get as much done in the AM as possible, it's going to be wicked hot this week.

Stephanie - love the horse but I agree, not the color theme I would have picked either.

Nan - Send DD my way if the attitude continues!! I'll probably have my goddaughters this week too, so we'll all work on attitude adjusting together.

I had a great weekend!

I went to the Stampin Up club yesterday. It was CHAOTIC!! There were more people than expected, and everyone kept telling me it's usually not that crazy. But I felt right at home, as my house gets chaotic, so I had a blast. Learned how to put ribbon ruffles on a card...not something I'll ever do, but nice to learn anyway.

They asked me if I wanted to join, so I am now a member with hostess privileges Next time not taking so much stuff with me. I didn't get to use anything I brought, and forgot something I needed...figures... OH, and I got to hold a 3mo old baby Can't beat that for a Sunday

Today is all about DH. He is having cataract surg this afternoon and I'm nurse.

My list:

Hope that DH stays sleeping, because he can't have his coffee and is going to be a bear...just sayin

Feed pups

Drive DH to appt and wait... taking book on ipod, and crochet...and new stampin up catalog

Make something yummy for dinner

I really like it!! I remember when I was teaching at Mike's and BFF was the Event planner, I would help with those projects. Many times we wondered " who thought this up...it's so ugly"

I like the horse. Not my favorite color scheme either, but it works for generic things, which is why they want it that way, I bet.

I'm working. Week 2 of Visual/Performing Arts Camp for Morgan. They are doing Robin Hood this week.

Harry Potter was so great! I can't wait to see it again. I laughed, I cried, I loved it all!

Supposed to be crazy crazy hot here this week. I'm glad to be at work today, in the A/C.

JetBlue has opened up their flights though April, but the costs are crazy! Don't know what to do about that cruise now...

Buffy, why do you need to call NYPD?

We were hit Friday coming into the city, but the officer that did the report didn't give us the guys insurance info. I need to see who needs to get the report, us or our insurance. If we have to get it, DH will have to go back into the city to pick it up, apparently they don't mail or fax things.

They were really really nice guys though. They felt bad because traffic was so bad it took them 30 minutes to go around one block to get to us.

On the bright side.. my college kid's tuition went down due to his scholarships and he is responsible for his frat housing! Note: when you listen to dumb stepmom and apply you can get scholarships.. Who would have thought!!!

The trains are a nightmare right now between subway renovations and summer schedules, it was easier to drive, or so we thought. Plus we knew the kids were going to do some major shopping so we figured it would be better to not haul all the stuff back on the train.

Everyone is ok, thankfully we were stopped and he was going slow. Basically we were waiting for the intersection to clear so we could go straight. He came up on our left and turn right, right in front of us. He wasn't going to stop but the traffic was jammed up so he couldn't go anywhere. DH is just more mad then anything else. I've been having major anxiety over being a passenger lately and he thought for sure I was going to rip his head off. LOL But I just had a feeling something was going to happen, it just wasn't as bad as I had suspected.

Good Monday Morning Ladies!!

Slow day around here I think. Although I fixed the washer last night so it can now be used!! So i will work on more laundry. Ran 3 loads last night.

Choke down my glucola I have a straw so maybe that will make it better. cross my fingers it stays. Do not want to do it again

Head to dr with all 3 in tow.

If they are good we will head to the mall and do some shopping.

Hope the test goes well today Rachal.. I hated that test.. I tested at 205.. they freaked.. sent me to a dietician, changed my diet.. and made me test 3 times a day my sugar level.. never once did it not meet the "norm".... I think they screwed my test up w/ someone elses....

Hope the test goes well today Rachal.. I hated that test.. I tested at 205.. they freaked.. sent me to a dietician, changed my diet.. and made me test 3 times a day my sugar level.. never once did it not meet the "norm".... I think they screwed my test up w/ someone elses....

Ugh!! How horrible! I was really careful with what I ate the last few days. with DD#3 we went to the melting pot a few days before my test and ended up having to do the crazy 4 hour test, that was not fun at all!

Good news though! We will get to see him again in 2 weeks!! Dr confirmed with me that he is kinda big. I'm thinking long limbs, no 16 pounders here.

My babies got smaller as I got older.. all were healthy just my boys wanted to come early.. DS15 was 4 weeks early.. DS10 was 3 weeks early... DD came a few days between the 4 due dates they gave me! LOL

Just got home from dropping Sarah of at "Drum Major Academy" at University of Northern Colorado. She's staying in a really nice "suite dorm" with 5 other suite mates. I hope she likes it there--UNC is on her top 3 list. They have an "honors" program in addition to being the top university for education majors in Colorado. We have a campus visit scheduled in 2 weeks. It would be nice to have her sort of close to home
