The Daily Grind ~ 7/14/15

Mornin'.. I think...

Up most of the night with storms.. lost of damage in and around our area.. we seem to have missed any damage..just need to check the cars for hail damage.. Hopefully since all we got was a bit of pea size we don't have any damage... (fingers crossed).

The lightning show lasted from about 8pm last night till 4am!

Today's agenda:

send DH off to work
send DS19 off to class (much to his dismay his campus is open)
take DS14 off to team bonding event w/ football team
home for a nap -- was up most of the night between DH snoring, the lightning, the storm and the sump pump running non-stop.
await text from DS14 they are back in town
scrap
since I put everything up high since they said we could see flooding might as well clean my scraproom while the floor is cleared
scrap - 4-6 page today
watch weather rumor has it we could get more storms tonight

Glad to hear the damage missed you guys Nan - fingers crossed that your cars are ok! For the first time in forever we had loud thunder boomers and rain yesterday afternoon. Supposed to be like that all week - typical Florida summer!

Run a couple errands
Scrap a couple pages
Chicken and salad for dinner

We are good.. no damage.. not even the cars! Hope it stays that way!!!

However, I did see a photo from about 7-8 minute drive NW of us a funnel cloud from last night! Good thing we headed warnings and went to basement... We were notified via our phone emergency alert, tv, radio, weather radio of the tornado warning in our area about 20 minutes before we heard our sirens go off and they are not far from our house..
