DGS is at camp - his last week! Love having him here every summer for this month.

Once kids are all awake, vacuum and dusting.

Working. Morgan is at Visual/Performing Arts camp this week. They don't start until 9:00, so I'm late on my work days. Meh, no biggie.

She turned 11 on Sunday. Hard to believe my baby is 11. Where does the time go? We ordered this for her for her birthday, it's late, but I think she'll be okay with it being late once she sees it That's our Meezer, who will no doubt be the subject of many of her videos.

Last chance to sign up for the Cruise Swap! It will close tomorrow.

Happy Wednesday

We had horrible lighning with huge thunderstorms last night. The lightning hit a tree in the yard adjacent to our backyard I hope the storms don't come to any of your houses!

Rachel to camp
Crop at my moms (okay--really watch her work on her cruise album & help if needed)
Pick Rachel up (it's an hour round trip in the morning & afternoon--good thing she's loving this drama camp!)
Dinner--fend for yourself night
Work on character swap

I got out in the garden early today and trimmed the butterfly bush that is on steroids.

Another lazy day around here before I work 4 straight days. Always throws me off. But my co-worker wont be in so ya me!!

Today:
We are already downstairs hanging out. Have I mentioned how much I love my little corner? Got so much done yesterday! Makes it easier when I dont have to get up every 2 seconds to go in the other room to get something. But our summer weather has left so its a bit chilly down here.

Might hit the store later for a few things, but we'll see

I'm getting ready to go take a nap. I had to be at work at 3:30 this morning for the truck shift! I'm so glad I don't have to do this very often anymore. But, our store had the front end (register area) redone last night and it had to be up and running by the time we opened this morning, and we had the truck this morning as well so extra hands were needed. I think a little nap will be wonderful right now as I'm starting to droop!!!

Hi everyone! Just a quick check-in. . .had a busy, but fun day playing with DS!

Caroline--I work an 11-month contract (all HS Guidance Counselors in our county do), so we have to go back 10 days before the teachers come back in the fall, and then work 10 days longer in the spring. Our principal is gracious, though, and lets me count time I build working weekends during the year for a few of the end-of-the-year days. Our teachers start back on August 2nd, and our kids start back August 8th. It's hard to believe it's already time!
