Nancy I am happy to hear that your weekend was so wonderful and memorable!! Graduations seem to herald the adult life beginning!! Then our kids really seem to grow up too quickly!
Last full week of school here - have 51 students going to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island on Friday - finalzing all details today and tomorrow.
Weather is cooler and rainy most of this week.

Yesterday afternoon was a bit hard...Megan was still feeling sad about the end of recital and missing Jim terribly...we had lots of tears and cuddles...I hate seeing her in pain, she slept with me last night and seemed to sleep pretty soundly...know this because I didn't, was worried she would have some bad dreams....hoping today she is feeling better

think I just going to work on some swap stuff
and hang with Megan after school

I had a pretty great weekend, got some cleaning done, and might just make this a scrap day(really disappointed in my last few pages, debating on whether I should redo them too ). I want to finish Day 2 of the trip today- that is my goal. I need to go to the PO to mail a swap, a little straightening, laundry shuffle, and dishwasher dance.
DD2 has softball camp at 11:15 until 2ish with a friend/neighbor who will transporting her
DD2 has a softball game tonight at 7:45 (undefeated team vs. undefeated team- big game for 10 year old )
Dinner- Some type of pasta and salad

Morning!

Did some organizing and laundry on Saturday, painted some more of the master bedroom yesterday. I am almost done - yay! Contractor coming at 10am to give me a quote on painting the living and dining room and stairway - the ceilings are to high for me!

DH and I went to see "The Best Exotic Mariogold Hotel" yesterday afternoon - a great movie, I think we were the youngest people in the theater (and we are 50,51!!)

Cheryl, Do you have a future cornhusker on your hands? If so Lincoln is only about 3 hours from KC. We really need to plan a Kansas City scrapbook weekend. October 5 & 6 is the KC scrapbook convention? I guess KC would still be fairly far for you. Too bad we don't have a good central location for us west to mid-west dis scrappers.

Megan went to school...not wanting to go...but I knew it would be best for her to go and be occupied ....

I had to write a "letter" for Megan's language arts class for her "ME Magazine" was something I was putting off since I knew it would be emotional...I was right, cried right through it...felt right to do it today though

Cassey, hope your dr can give you some relief!

Nope, she's going to a small school in nw Nebraska (on the panhandle). She earned so many scholarships she only had to take out 1 tiny loan

KC isn't too, too far. It's a long one day drive.

stalked the johnlscott website- we had to rescind our offer and wait for the house to go back on the market, make a new offer, all because the bank dinked around getting the hot water heater issue taken care of, and put us further out for our financing to be done and wont extend their closing date. so here we go again! pixie dust that it all works out and we dont end up losing the house.
called Realtor and DBf to give new MLS
booked dd's bday party-played phone tag on friday
closed the DLR/DCA swap
DS for a nap
Dinner is defrosting-manacotti

Still to do:
Finish boxes event swap
bday invites to go out tomorrow to school
call text other invitees the deets
dinner
run to PO to drop event swap off if DBF makes it home in time, he had to run an errand after work

Thanks!! Its just so LAME. The selling agent thinks its bs too. but its the bank not him or us. He is actually working with us. I was told that plan b was his plan in the first place. haha.

sucks that the bank screwed up and is now doing this....think they'd want the house off their books at least your agent is on your side

Allergist has given me a prescription for a nasal spray, hopefully it will help because I need sleep! Pine pollen is the worst for me and it still has two weeks left of it's season here. I will be a walking zombie by then.
