I'm working. I think I'm taking Friday off though :thumbsup2

I've got the interest thread up for the Cruise swap, if anyone is interested, here. ;)

Morgan is with my sister today. No big plans for them that I know of. She's taking a kids "paper bag book" class tomorrow at the store that's closing. Hoping I can get some deals at 30% off at their closing sale.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Buffy, I think it's time to look for a new car.. I know that one is new..but you have spent more time w/ it in the shop then driving it, so it seems! ;)

The kids have moratorium week next week... they are thrilled.... although PJ would be fuming to run at 5:30am... we use to run at 6:30am..but now that the coach is getting older he pushed the time back! LOL

Today we are celebrating DH's birthday.... so things are on the "fly" today.... I have a list of things I hope to accomplish but if they don't get done, they will be done tomorrow because I'm going to have to find him something to do...

Yeah, it's crazy!! And I am soooo not a morning person.
It was weird being in bed by 10 last night! LOL

I'm not either, but wake up at 5 almost every morning....oh well at least I have some quiet time before Megan gets up! I've been falling asleep on the couch the last few nights, Megan wakes me up to go to bed at 10 when she does!

Good Morning!

I have had a busy morning already but here is my rest of the day:

get Epcot swap mailed
Wed night stuff at church
potluck item for dinner- something to go with the beef stew someone else is bringing

Rebecca

You are an early morning bunch today! Took DGS to camp, had my bone density test, meeting a friend for lunch. Notice the words laundry/cleaning did not appear on my "to do" list. Took a break today.
Prayers and PD to all in need.

Buffy, you are way too early for me!!!!!
Lisa- bet the curtains will look beautiful.
SIOH - have not watched that show, but have been enjoying "The Voice."
Nancy- I like the word moratorium
Jennifer - have never tried a swap - but seeing as how I have to do some for my Sept cruise- I will give it a look
Rebecca - potluck sounds much easier

I like moratorium too.. We use to get 2 weeks of it...one in for July 4th week..and then last week of July but they took the last week in July away... :(
However, next year we will be taking 2 weeks regardless because we are going away the week before spring break for a big celebration!!!

Afternoon all

first time in days i've sat down at the computer to check in for more than 10 secs and I find myself falling asleep. guess it's cause I sat down

haying season is CRAZY weather is insane and I'm ready to be done and we still have 3 fields to go. If it could break I think it has...... I'm TRYING to clean but am so wiped I'm ready to go lay down for a bit. I HAVE to cook dinner tonight haven't cooked in weeks. so I'm thinking tacos sound pretty good.

Hope everyones well and enjoying summer!

Happy Birthday Prince M!!!!!!!

I was telling DH on the phone I am getting sick of the little things that keep going wrong with the car, they are starting to add up. Granted it's a new model and we were the 7th in the state to own one, 2nd to own the diesel but geez Louise it's getting really old!!!
This time it's the exhaust sensor, guess where the only one in the country is??
Wisconsin!!!
Won't be here til the end of next week, so I have an appt the 11th. It's the only spot they have available for a loaner car. ERGH!!!!

Hey Christy!!!!

Haying is crazy here too, our neighbors just cut for the first time today. Hopefully they will get it rolled before we get more rain this weekend.

Hey Buffy Hopefully they get it in we were to have a beautiful sunny day and it's dark and cloudy since 1. This field we are doing is sooooo wet underneath I almost lost the little tractor and that was last week before we got another 3 inches. He's hoping to cut tomorrow and bale thurs then cut fri pm and bale sat that should finish this field.

If you have an in with the weather man please tell him the southwest needs the rain we've had plenty

Boys are busy L is still swimming 3 days a week ( i cut him back we need him on a tractor at times) and E is doing wood!
Hope you all are enjoying summer.

Crazy busy summer here, between sports, immersion summer classes and swim lessons we are full tilt up to the beginning of the school year. I've got 3 kids in swim lessons and I'm signing them up for more because 30 minutes a day for 8 days just isn't enough but they are having fun so that's all that counts.
I just need a maid to catch up on all my stuff!!! LOL

I am soooo sick of rain! the ground is a mess, I know the hay is still wet, it has to be. On the days it's been sunny we've had rain overnight. I think that's why they switched to the round bales because they don't turn the hay to let it dry, they just roll it and wrap it. Thankfully they cut today so now I can get in there and back mow around the trees. But mom lost 1/2 an apple tree 2 days ago so we have to get in there and cut that up to mow around it. I'm tempted to leave it til winter though because the ticks and mosquitos are awful!!!
DH and I hit the farmers market last weekend to buy bat houses. I'm hoping it will ease the mosquitos.
Oh and the pincher bugs are really bad too!!
