Good afternoon

Accomplished 4 important things on my "get out and get them done " list

Anyone know if Nancy arrived? Sadly, the weather is not sounding too good in FL for a few days.

Cheryl, it is good to hear that you are feeling better today - little steps forward!!!

Cassie, we had the most awful thunder and lightning storms here this morning. Sun is not really out but the skies are brighter now.

Have a very good afternoon everyone.

Yes, Nan arrived safely. They had a bit of an issue with their room keys but once they got that taken care of, they were off and running. She said the rain has been great at keeping the crowds down. They've practically walked onto all the rides.

afternoon all

Hope all this weather goes away. we need the rain but the thunder nd lightening can stop. a 16 yr old was struck in thetford at last check he was critical, He was at his summer job at a farm stand.

Glad everyone is accomplishing something. I just sat down for the first time today (other than 10 mins I scraf down some food at lunch). I need to do more scraproom cleaning today and supper????

Cheryl baby steps, don't do too much

gotta get moving!!!!

the quilt looks great
I hope ya send the rain to us 0 had 100 degree temp today
of course we were out in it - went to the Cameron Park Zoo at Waco this morning
the cats posed pretty good for me & the bear - some of the other animals were hiding (in the shade so can't blame them)

Saw Brave last night - had 2 babies - one on each side of us - if one wasn't fussing the other one started plus someone kept turning lights on (apparently they were looking for something) the only thing that really bother me was the one baby that cried for over an hour (I could see the baby - no bottle or pasy or anything but a few people who played pass the child around trying to calm - at least they were trying but some water would had been a good idea - heard them saying that the baby spit up alot)
really enjoyed the movie - the scenes were beatiful

Happy to hear Nan made it safe....hope the storm blows through soon and they stay safe!

Cheryl love the quilt!

Christy prayers for the boy who got hit by the lightning :goodvibes

hate when people don't take crying babies out of movies...way to much money to listen to that the whole show!

Cheryl, that quilt came out beautiful!

Caroline, the sun went away pretty quickly this morning, thunderstorms and heavy rains for awhile. Sun is back out now, hope it stays that way.

Glad Nan and crew made it safely! Hope the weather clears up for them.

Megan surprised the heck out of me tonight at dance class...one of her friends decided to audition for the performance team and megan asked if she could too....so they had to sing Happy Birthday, we will find out in about a week or so if she makes it

they do 10 performances throughout the year, so will be a new challenge....and guess where they are going to perform in January?.......DISNEYLAND!!!!! so keep your fingers crossed she gets accepted and then the fund raising will begin for Disneyland! I have to volunteer at half of the events and at one of the recital performances too, so a new challenge for us both!

ooh that would be great (hate to know how much money they will need) just think if she did that then she just might want to preform at Disney when she gets older so all those dance lessons could come in handy
:dance3::dance3::dance3:

they do a lot of fundraising, not sure how much $$ it will be right now, the first parent meeting is in July to get things started, but heck performing at DL will be worth it! she would love to work for Disney someday!

Lisa - wouldn't that be exciting??????
Cheryl - I love the quilt!!!
Cassie, after a series of thunder/lightning storms again this afternoon, the sun finally did come out about 5.
