Good Morning!!! I'm off in a few minutes to meet up with my Mom and stitching pals for the weekend.

My day:
Pack
Get gas
Pick up Mom on the way
Check in to hotel
Have tea at tearoom (it's our annual tradition)
Shop in downtown area
Meet up with stitching pals
Take over breakfast area at hotel to stitch and chat
Dinner
Stitch some more!

Good morning - forced myself back to sleep after waking at 5:35
long list for today:
bank, drug store, oil change, headlight to be replaced etc... but the nice thing is to have my grandson along.
Next week he is off to day camp, so I love having this special together time.

put final touches on room
get DS9 from camp

DS10 and 14 to dentist at 2 and 2:30
work out
prep schedule for next week (crazy week!!)
dinner - Tacos
work in craft room a bit
finish envelope system for cash
clip coupons and rebuild binder system
snuggle with DH while browsing Pinterest (love this place!!)

The Ziploc Steam bags- you can add any foods you want to steam. They do tell you not to add butter or really salty sauces until after you cook. I have used them for potatoes and a vegie medley so far but you can cook fish, chicken and other such foods in them as well. They have suggested times on the outside of the bag and the other night the bags I did turned out wonderuflly. I added a little bit of seasoning (rosemary and such) before steamming and then we added a little bit of butter afterwards.

I don't know how much they are most places but at the commisary they were about $2.50 for 10 medium size bags and I think that for the way they work it wa well worth the cost. Now I can do my own steamed vegies from the farmer's market specials.

Ya its finally Friday!!
Longest Week Ever!!!

Today is my first official day of summer vacation. had to work yesterday.
Slept in!!

Off to get everyone up and moving.
Make DD#1 a "tie"
DD#1 has pictures at 11:15. Thank goodness only one set and no costume changes. Yesterday 2 little girls 4 sets of costumes, 3 changes, and cranky little rainbow who would not cooperate. who is not in her class picture and who after rubbing all her makeup off on my white work shirt finally decided to take a picture

Some unpacking is in order, still missing a few things from the garage and basement that I cant carry up, DBF has been less than helpful with the unpacking process. So I guess he can spend the weekend cleaning the whole apartment.

And as of this morning we have an extra dress rehearsal for DD's play at 430 this evening.

Oh and the Bosses at work want to throw me a baby shower, Should I let them?

I just hate recital. and i swear it never seems to get better. 1 dance or 10 its always the same. BLAH! found out that we have an 830 practice tonight as well. I took a nap earlier but i am still waaaaay cranky. and I dont really want to go to a maybe might happen practice if I dont have too.

Well DBF has to step up. cause I cant get things up the stairs. I tried to get some things moved around and organized but baby K isnt cooperating. He's following his sister in the I am ready to get here tradition and it makes life difficult. thank goodness for my recliner.

I think I'm gonna doze till DBF gets here with dinner. I have a wicked headache. 2 more days and dance is over!!

I hated Megan's recitals the first three years we were in Modesto, the owner was a major WITCH and didn't care anything about the kids or parents, just her pocket book! this year was so nice, ran well, only one rehearsal with was full dress and then took photos afterwards! one stop shopping!!!

sorry you are not feeling good, you need to take good care of yourself so our little DIS nephew doesn't make an early apperance....do I need to do some whooping on Ryan when we come over! I'll do it for you anytime
hope rehearsal wll go quick tonight so you can get some sleep!
