Home from wedding.

James Bond....Gotta love em!

Today -

Get mail - no rail shirts - just bills....blech
DD and Nephew to bus ONTIME! I do amaze myself some days.
FB and DIS
vacuum
laundry
pile up drycleaning stuff
make appts for cars to go in
find out if horse shoes made it out to barn
gear up to find remaining items needed for DDs first horse show this weekend!
dinner...hmmm..tri tip.
PU dd from bus
go to barn

So, I go to the market after work to get stuff for work party...$$$ later... OMG...

So, any ideas on how I can ask for donations for the "Margarita Bar"? The mixer was like $7x2 and with the rest of the taco fixins, I'm in for quite a bit of $$...

Is this something you were required to do "out-of-pocket"?
Do other folks take care of the other parties?
Is there a kitty that people contribute to?

It's like a bring a dish. People sign up. The drink was something that people talked about. Some people do sign up to give money, but it's not like a collection.

Honestly, I don't get how it works. Lots of people signed up just to give money, but no one could tell me how it works. It's like they just talk to eachother and hand over the money

I was thinking of having a donation like jar, because the drinks are new, but that's kind of tacky too...

I don't know, maybe this is just a learning experience for me...first party and all...

I certainly wouldn't volunteer to bring drinks anymore.
