Last day of school!!!


Today:

get kids up and out the door
remember last day of school photo
make sure kids have yearbooks (DS16 has finals today.. ; DD18 has graduation rehearsal , DS11 has field/fun/chaos day )
DH and I will do a once over on the house; together we will be done in an hour as we had family clean up last night!
take boys shopping for DD's grad gifts from them after school
take photos of DD's decorated truck

All be told this will be a "ME" day again because a lot of this will be done quickly!!
Need to start cooking the hamburger meat for the graduation party tomorrow!!!


I hope everyone has a great day!! Off to get the kids up and movin'!!! This should be an easy day!!!
Now, to hold the tears in till after they depart!!!

I am lucky, I have a housekeeper who comes every two weeks and she's here today. When I "retired" back in Feb., my sweet DH said to go ahead and keep our housekeeper if I could find the $$ in the budget. Easy to do since we went from eating out 3 nights a week to once every couple of weeks.

Time to scrap!

I was up most of the night so decided not to go into work, voice is almost gone. Called the allergist this morning but he won't see me until Monday, UGH! Pollen is so bad it looks foggy out. Keeping windows all shut, I will put the AC on if I have to.

Today:


vacuum house
straighten scrap supplies and work on swaps.
Meeting at 5pm
dinner- hot dogs and mac and cheese
Julia's chorus concert at 7pm

Good morning everyone! Yeah for last day of school, recitals, and concerts.

Had an extra spend the night last night, so this morning I took the girls/friend/DS to the donut shop. I am going to straighten up, and I am going to scrap the day away. I have two neighbors coming over to join the fun, which means I will probably have a house full of kids but they usually do well playing wii, karaoke, etc. It is a rainy day here, so we are trapped indoors Enjoy your day!!

My mom called first thing to tell me that my grandma finally passed. The battle of her stuff already commenced and was fought and won and lost by all. There wont be a service or anything. Just waiting for the news to make the rounds so we can move on.

DS was up at 3am again!!!!!!!! He's sleeping now.

Girls are up and out, apparently there was a bear and 3 coyotes spotted on the school grounds this morning, they locked the school down .

Still to do:
Call the jr high DD will be at next year, different one from the school she attends now goes to and find out if they have a parent night too.
Fill some orders
Pick up DD#2 from school
Take DD#3 to dance
Drop kiddos off at moms
volunteer at dd#1's school, supervise glue gun
pick up kids
home
finish up swaps/orders
DD to dance
possibly to parent meeting at jr high.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandma - I"m glad that she is no longer in any pain - when my granny died, she had already given me what she thought I would want then I got dish towels & a few odd & ends that were left but the other family only wants things that cost alot & grandpa wouldn't spend much so they left alot but hey, I got the mash potatoe & gravy bowls & always think of her when I use them

anyways I"m sure she isn't worried it now and that is all that really matters anyways - you have your memories, let the things go[/COLOR]

coyotes are known to get rabids pretty easy around here - better keep the kids safe than sorry. they usually don't go around alot of people unless something is wrong - I would lock down too - so I'm glad to hear it

DS's schedule is still the same, he has just decided that some nights he needs a 3 am feeding again, must be growing.

Its actually not that big of a deal, seeing as its spring and we live in the woods. better than last years bear incident, helicopters and everything. it was nuts.
