library last night with those computers I hired someone!!!!!

Working all stupid day today. I don't like Fridays but I do because it's the beginning of the weekend - ah, a catch 22!

Morgan's school is having a "Carnival" tonight. I hope the rain holds out and it's not canceled. Although, I'm not sure it's even outside.

Dress rehearsal was last night, they did so great. I can't wait to see the show now. I think we have her teacher talked into a Saturday Hip Hop class.

Today, I got up at 7AM...and waited to take a photo w/ my DS12 at 7:07AM when he turned 13...and tradition we have had since they were born....
Went back to bed for a bit as DH had a conference call and I think half the conversations are wasted oxygen on his co-workers side... DH only gets involved when he is needed...(good thing about being the boss)...
We are getting ready to take the family bowling for DS13's birthday... Out to lunch...and than maybe the zoo or something to celebrate the end of the school year and good grades!!!!
We've already discussed a big motivator for next year.... so that should get my kids movin' to keep their gpa's up!!!!
Ok, off to hurry the kids along..bowling alley opens at noon..wanted to be the first ones in!

Hey guys! No need to worry bout me, everything's cool here. Just a sick dog that needed mama and a vet appt, and bad weather kept me off the puter for a couple of days... I sure missed you guys!!

Now I have to get my hiney in gear, as it is race weekend in Dover this weekend, and I'm going to hit some bad traffic on my way to the beach! DH is already on his way, and I'm the caboose. I was able to get out of work an hour early, so that will help.

Also planning DS20's bday...it's on Sunday. My first born is going to be legal!

So, I'm off to pack the car. Everyone have a great weekend! See ya Sunday... My baby's bday He wants to have a margarita with his mama

Glad to hear you're okay Debbie, enjoy your margaritas!

I'm in the "you've got to be kidding me stage of the day..." I got a call around 1:00 this afternoon that Morgan was in the nurse's office with a fever of 100.4 and complaining of dizziness (she is my kid, no surprise there!). So, she had tried to call DH, who no longer works on Fridays (hours cut!), and there was no answer. I left work, 35 miles round trip, went to school and got her, and brought her home (he was here, I have no idea if he was ignoring the phone or just not here). Plied her with motrin and went back to work.

Well, I'm home now and she doesn't seem feverish, but she says her throat hurts and she's coughing. She did tell me that 70 kids were absent from her school yesterday and 133 today...Um, if that's true, there's a real need for some disinfecting over at that school! So, I'll put her to bed early and hope that she'll be okay tomorrow. We need to be at the auditorium at 4:00 tomorrow afternoon for a 5:00 show (in which she's in 3 dances).

Please cross your fingers that it's just nerves and she'll be fine (looking less and less like that's a possibility though!).

glad you are ok Debbie. i'm a worrier!!!!! it's my nature to worry. i can't help it!!!

now about miss morgan! what the heck is that all about?? did the motrin help?? i will feel so bad if she's sick and can't do the show! that will totally stink. i hate it when they have something that they have put so much into and then the big day and they can't do it. let's hope she's feeling better for tomorrow. *****fingers crossed**** let us know how she is in the am!

She was up bright and early this morning. She doesn't have a fever and she said her throat was "a little scratchy." We'll take it slow and easy today until we have to go to B'ham!

LOL, she is such a drama queen, she just came upstairs and said "I feel like I'm going to puke." It's nerves!
