Good Morning everyone!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful and safe Memorial Day weekend!!!

Today we are meeting one of my MAW/Big Give kid, Chelsea and her family....they live in OR and are visiting family/friends here in the area....for breakfast! can't wait to get to meet them in person!!!

then heading down to Ikea since we are about half way there after breakfast!
home for awhile then dinner at friends tonight!!

Sunday nothing planned, will see what we feel like doing....

Monday meeting my mom and one brother's family to place flags at Jim's and my daddy's graves then lunch out.

hope to do so scrapping along the way too this weekend!

Have fun all!!

Mornin' Lisa!!!

Today the boys are helping DH with the new mulch in the flower beds and around my front tree... Boys are also going to move the flowers ( I call it the butterfly bushes) and spread them out around the tree instead of just on oneside...

PJ has grad parties to go to....

I'm going to clean and scrap...

I have a list of things the kids need to do for 4-H... need to get the big kids moving on their activites to complete their books.. DS10 is done all but 1 activity... :woohoo:

Tonight I need to confirm with DS14 what we are doing for his birthday tomorrow!!!! My boy will be 15.. last I checked he had researched and found bowling.. 2 games for the price of 1 on Sunday.. He had even totalled up the cost for all of us to go..and compared it to going just on Saturday.. LOL

ETA: will start cutting out and working on Mazda's AWOL Sport Swap replacement... I have several of the groups but not all of them... May need, no, I will need to run to J's for elements...

Hope you have a good day today... Enjoy!

Lisa, have fun meeting meeting Chelsea. That's great that you get to meet her!

Counting down!
1 more day until DS's graduation party
4 days until DS's graduation
6 days until WDW trip!!!! (it's less than a week away!!! - I've never needed a vacation as much as this one and I get NINE days at Disney World this time!!!!)

My list for today:
Finish up photo posters for DS's party - I've got each school year photo from kindegarten through senior year (either 8x10 or 5x7) and have them on boards and surrounded by a few pictures of each year. Then, I've got a poster for just performance photos. Since he requested a graduation trip to WDW, I'm hoping to get a Disney poster made too which will have 1 Disney photo from every year (baby to now). But, I'm not sure if I have time to dig out those photos since half aren't digital and I only just thought of the idea this morning it may not be doable. We'll see how time goes.

Get DS to give me a final headcount of his friends that will be at party tomorrow
Make shopping list of food needed for tomorrow
Go grocery shopping
Send DH with his list of things to get - couple of coolers and maybe a new grill (we need a new one but he doesn't agree, but since we'll be grilling lots and lots at the party maybe now is a good time to push him into actually getting one!)
Bake & decorate DS's graduation cake - I'm making a big sheet cake (with stars around the outside) and then putting a Mickey Mouse cake on top and putting a mortar board on Mickey's head. I just hope it turns out like I've got it pictured in my head.
Go through party supplies (tablecloths, decorations, paper products, food, etc.) and make sure we have everything
Charge camera batteries
Clean up mess I know I'll have made in kitchen and dining room
Relax!

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning :)

Lisa--have fun at breakfast & IKEA ;)
Nan--enjou cropping ;)
Stephanie--you'll be very busy today!!

I was up at 2:30 to drive for the choir initiation "kidnap" breakfast (the parents knew that we were coming to get the kids). DH, Sarah and I drove all over town to pick up the new members of "Shadows" and then we ate breakfast at Village Inn :)

Since I'm up I'm heading to J's for cardstock
Start on outside the parks swap
Laundry
Maybe finish reading "The Help"

Have a great day all :)

The Village Inn name cracks me up... because our town bar was the village Inn.. and once I got my license..I had to get my dad from there a time or two... :headache:

Hope you had fun Cheryl..

Off to clean the basement... Mulching is about 1/2 done!!

Good Morning Ladies!!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

23 days until we move!

Today I am going to WORK!

Leaving DBF a long list of Get Done before I get home. He kept me up until 1am watching some dumb loud action movie, for some reason he couldnt watch in the other room. So I am a little grumpy today.

Home

Finish up some swaps

Wait for all the kids to return,

Bed

Work tomorrow.

We had a great time! I've never seen 16 teenagers that were so quiet :thumbsup2

I saved $59 at J's this morning. That covers what I spent at Archiver's last night :rotfl:

It's Saturday! DH is putting together the new grill, with the "supervisor" Meezer watching his every move. Morgan is at my sister's, probably a bit waterlogged by now, but she'll be very happily tired later.

We did a few other errands (borrowed the truck for the grill, got me some new Keds with my Kohls Kash, fun new antibacterial flavored soaps from Bath & Body Works, and lunch from Five Guys), and now I think it's time for a snooze in the sun with my book. Or, maybe just the couch ;) It's too hot out there, but oh so nice to see the sun.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Gorgeous day here.

I did a little scrapping in my girl cave. :goodvibes:goodvibes Almost done with my WDW trip last August.

Attended an afternoon wedding. Second marriage for both, he was a widower and she divorced. it was a beautiful ceremony. So glad they found each other. And yes, this is the couple whose wedding invitations I made. They scanned heart embellishment from the invitations and used it on the wedding program. The reception was at this gorgeous turn of the century home near the Mark Twain house in Hartford.
