Big finals this week so I'm not going to push it.. I'm letting things slide alittle too..and trying not to get her in a foul mood... well her grades are all a's right now... blowing a final could take her GPA down...

Happy Anniversary Jennifer!!! :)

Not only is it the last 3 days of school... the count down is on..
4 days til DS12's birthday..
7 days til DD15 starts driver's ed...

a week full of changes!!! (now, to remember to allow her to drive... I've already told DH that once a week he has to take her down and work w/ her on the interstate.. on/off ramps, merging to the lanes... I'm afraid I'll yell at her.... he is the more laid back of the two of us)

Thanks! Sometimes I can't believe it's already been 14 years, then I think it feels more like 34! :rotfl2:

Wow, Nan, that's a lot of stuff going on in one week, I don't think I can bear the thought of Morgan driving!

We have 17 1/2 more days of school...Morgan's looking forward to the end. Me, not so much...I have no idea what I'm going to do with her for the majority of the summer!

Good morning!

PO3- I am glad your mom is getting better- even just little by little.
Nancy/DIT- enjoy your last couple of days
Jennifer- Happy Anniversary!!

Today:
Graveside service (2 hours away)
Post Office (If we make it home in time)
Meeting about VBS
Revival (Larry is preaching)

That will be my entire day!

Rebecca

Mornin. Holly, it is so good to see you!

So we made some heavy duty decisions this weekend. As I have mentioned before, DH's boss (not my favorite person) cut his pay at the beginning of the month. So then DH started trying to figure out how he could open his own practice.:scared1: Well that is still on the plate and along with having a serious shortfall in our budget, we are moving. Not far, just to my parents for a few months. :scared1: We all LOVE my parents so I'm not really worried about getting along. It's going to be difficult to figure out what goes with us and what goes in storage. This should allow DH to figure out his own office and to be financially able to get into a new house.

so.... that said, here's the list....
coffee
coffee
DD's lunch
DD out the door (6 more days after today)

dressed
strip bed
wash sheets
DS dressed

swish and swipe
dishwasher
shine the sink

hot spots
reboot laundry
straighten living room
straighten bedroom
straighten kitchen
take pictures of living room, bedroom, kitchen
call SIL
pick up DD
homework

dinner

Happy Anniversary Jennifer!!!!! My 20th anniversary is tomorrow. Time sure flies!

Nancy, good luck with driving with your DD. That was the hardest part when DS learned to drive. It was hard to sit back and let him drive. DS said that I was better to drive with than DH, but not by much. He said that DH confused him by telling him too many things to do at once. My problem, he said, was that I'd tense up and grab the "Oh @#@" handle too many times!:rotfl: But, he made it through and has been driving on his own now for 6 months and is a very good driver.

Ashley, good luck with moving and your DH setting up his own practice. that it all works out well.

We have started the daily "how to" discussions..
This weekend we are getting under the hood of the truck/van and showing her things.... before she can even get her licensce (December) she has to be able to change her own tire from start to finish.. (I had to do the same thing... my dad would not drive me up to get my license until I could do so)

Happy Anniversary Jennifer!! 14 years of wedded bliss. :teeth:

Wow Ash, that is a lot of change for your family. I thought Nan's was a lot.

The puppies are growing by leaps and bounds. They are 18 weeks and now weigh 29.2 and 27.9 pounds. My little girl is filling out and doesn't look so much like a greyhound now. They were so calm and well behaved during the exam. They did not, however, like sitting still for the tick and flea medicine. I bet that stuff feels gross on their skin. They have mastered Sit and Down and will even do it when they don't want to. I get "the look". :rotfl2: They answer to their own names now and will come when called. The Stay still needs a lot of work. But that one is really hard to do when they are always together. They will be going to their third day of Doggie Day Camp tomorrow. I've been taking them once a week so far. Hopefully they will make friends with someone other than each other.

Holly - hope to continue to hear good things from you.

OMG!! My DS17 says the same thing. Now when I drive anywhere he is grabbing the door handle, leaning towards me, and saying all the things I was saying to him...how funny!!

Ash-good luck with the moving thing. i'm glad you have a plan. it will be nice for your parents to have that quality time with the kids too!

Lisa- i still have 2 more oil budgets to pay!!!----are you seeing this???

We finally got a tank of oil last week. DH was getting nervous the tank was only 1/3 full. :rotfl2: So I felt your pain as I paid that bill.

Thanks! Sometimes I can't believe it's already been 14 years, then I think it feels more like 34! :rotfl2:

DH and I joke about this too. Last Feb it was 19, we said it felt like 90. :lmao:

DH's sisters had to know how to change a tire too. I had to know how to drive a standard. Tell Princess J that both are good to know, but remember there is always AAA!

We need to see pictures. I laughed when I read about "the look". I could visualize it clearly.

Aroyer, best to you and your family. What a relief it will be to DH when he gets his practice set up.

Thanks for the support y'all! It's definitely going to be interesting.;)
