Prayers for SIOH's dad who will hopefully be having his surgery today...


I got PJ's Senior scrapbook done as current as it can be till next week.

Today:

I need to:
put Senior scrapbook pages into album
tie yarn knots into her t-shirt quilt
take photos of senior pages to share and quilt to share
post said photos on the boards
balance checkbook
pay bills
once over family room
work on life book pages that need finished working on these
pick up boys
homework/snack
select missing life photos I need/order those tonight
dinner
enjoy NCIS time w/ my family: popcorn, snacks and being together


Family jobs:
boys to work on and finish their last 4-H books done
DH to call FIL about babysitting rabbits while we are away ~ ckg his calendar, Dh gave him grief; he's retired there is nothing on the calendar! LOL
DH to cut down posterboard for salon prints
DD to finish her photography exhibits ~ on hold 3 tests tomorrow
DD to finish her consumer clothings activities ~ on hold 3 tests tomorrow
DD to get photos done for consumer clothing project ~ on hold 3 tests tomorrow

I'm so excited to know I just have one more book to do before graduation.

Thank you, Reddy. I am feeling a smidge better today. Was able to tolerate the pain medication last night (I'm generally not a fan of the way it makes me feel), and I slept pretty well. Still in quite a bit of pain, but moving a little better for sure.

I've got to run to the bank at 9:00 and move some $ around, but after that I'm going to take more meds and lounge. I do have to do some laundry, but that's no big deal.

Morgan has a Social Studies project (a quilt of the flags of the 7 countries of South Asia - who picked this one?!) due on Friday, so we'll work on that when she gets home. She and DH are painting the flags onto pieces of an old sheet I cut up.

Dinner is hot dogs and mac & cheese.

I wish I had some energy to start doing some organizing, but it's just going to have to wait. I was thrilled to get a couple cards made on Saturday (I dragged the stuff out to make them for Mother's Day and the girls who spent the night made them for their moms too ). I do need to pick out some more photos for completed pages. Maybe I can get that done today.

Hope everyone is doing well. Nancy, I see your lists are showing a lot of completion! WTG!

Good luck to Brooke's dad. Will be thinking of him.

I also am asking for some P & PD for my friend Judy's little Lisa, she is having another surgery today to close up the hole from her G-Tube they took out a few months ago....any surgery is scary for her due to her heart condition...thanks

Here is PJ's finished t-shirt quilt... I opted against tieing knots w/ yarn as I thought it would take away from the quilt...

I also put some updated LOs in the "a few layout" thread on the scrapbooking board.

Little Lisa's surgery has been postponed.....not sure of the details as of yet, but Lisa was very anxious all yesterday and today about going into surgery again so soon after her last one a few weeks ago, she felt she was going to die in surgery.....was it devine intervention surgery was cancelled? Judy thinks so, she didn't feel comfortable with the surgery either...please keep them in your prayers!

Thank you, Rebecca, it does feel that way...I'm hoping it's just a bad winter/spring for us, and we'll all be back to normal for summer. (Fingers crossed).

Call SIL to see what to get my niece and nephew for their June B-days

change in plans for me...got to school...all the supplies are packed up and no cash box...called the lady who works/in charge of student store and she knew nothing about it...I asked secretary and she said the PTA president did that all yesterday.. nice she let us know huh so I may be done working for the rest of the year

guess I'll scrap some extra today!

thanks for the prayers for little Lisa...surgery was postponed due to a rash over her body from a reaction to a new med....they are getting her coumadin levels back up to her range and hope to be home in a couple of days, they will reschedule the surgery ....



on a fun note....brought in all the props I made for willy wonka and the teacher was so happy, she had tears in her eyes, even the kids thought they were great...really made me feel good and so worth hurting my thumb to get this reaction
