Today is my last official evening shift at work. Monday is the big day for me, full time, and changing shifts for the first time in 25yrs. Everyone is being super supportive of the move, and telling me I'll be fine... But you know how it is, changing things up makes me nervous

Deb, you will be fine. Just take a deep breath and say "what the heck". Everything will be fine.

Today DD and I went down to the shoreline to check out a summer camp for her. DH went to the Cape this morning to help MomE open the house. We girls will be going down for spring vacation in a week.

I am tackling Mount Washmore, and then hopefully packing for my business trip this week.

Hey remember the txt about the family I found... they contacted me back... and they are relation!!! DH actually has a cousin that is 102 years old!!! Unfortunately her health is now failing... But it put a big hole in our brick wall that I was beating my head against!!!

Today I'm catching up from the week when I was not feeling well..
got lots done so far and lot more to do...
laundry
dishes
grocery store
label ancestors for DD (enter the info and she has to put them in the books correctly)
sort through info and get them in the right dividers for those ancestors so DD can start sourcing again... *She is up to 256 ancestors*

Ok, well I hope everyone has a wonderful day!! I'm off to get more done..
OH, have to order photos for myself, DD, and Flat Stanley!!!

Pixie Dust for a smooth transition Deb.

Puppies again, like everyday. No change in the routine even though it is a weekend.
Need to go put laundry away.
Clean kitchen.
Throw children in the tub.

She wasn't impressed but these days not much impresses a 15 year old. OY

I thought it was nice. Right on the ocean, scenery was gorgeous.

afternoon ladies!
well my pic was supposed to be of bubba at the birthday party and instead it was of the dr.'s office. we think he's got strep. did a throat culture and dropped it off at the lab. he looks terrible.
and you know he's sick when he curls up on my bed and goes off to sleep.

so while he was sleeping i took full advantage and cleaned his room!

and worked on mt.washmore. and finished my circle journal. which i can now mail off this week. dh picked up the living room and sorted legos into containers. all while my boy napped. now i need a nap!!

have a great rest of the day everyone.

deb- we will so be thinking of you on Monday. I always remember what my mom told me when i switched my job after 20years.......
the best is yet to come! and it was true. and it will be true for you as well.

Thanks Ann. It never fails invite him to a birthday party & he will be sick everytime!!!!! I felt so bad for him. on our way home from the drs we dropped off the gift for the little girl in his class and you could see the disappointment on his face. try to explain passing on strep to him.

Lisa, DD won't like anything at 15. Stinkers!!!

My job was the front hall, the front hall, and the front hall. My walls down the stairs are white again. Who'd a thunk fingerprint wasn't an actual color.

DH has just about tackled the bookcase that was at the bottom of the stairs, the color printer died so I took that out of the front hall closet and put the 2 boxes of CD's back in the closet.

and the hideous pink and white faux marble tile is clean. Do you think I should keep the tile til we redo the floors or would subflooring be an improvement?? I was tempted more then once to get the sledge hammer today.

And I got the dishes done, and DS12 did 3 loads of laundry today, and the boys cleaned their room, well kind of but I can see the floor!

All in all it was a pretty productive day.

Thanks Debbie! I did! Except I didn't get to hold him. I started feeling yucky and I wasn't sure if it was allergies so I kept my distance. DD was so funny, she monopolized holding him! Really cute. DS could have cared less. The baby is so cute- super cute chubby cheeks.

Debbie, pixie dust for your job. I hope it's a smooth transition!

Holly, hugs to Bubba!!! Poor little man- I HATE strep.

So I got a chair massage yesterday and found all kinds of interesting things. She thinks I have a dislocated tendon in my left shoulder. Which would explain the pain and tenderness in my left arm. It has never been bad enough to think anything of it, but it's certainly sore today after she worked on those muscles. She says that a massage therapist can put it back. We'll see.

ash-i bet you loved seeing that new baby. i would have. my ds is also uninterested in new babies. my niece was here with hers the other day and he could have cared less.
