Oh, and last night me DS20 shows me a text from his college. 4 kids are showing flu symptoms and being tested for Swine Flu :scared1:

So, I tell him, stay 3 feet away from everyone, wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands, don't touch your face, use hand sanitiser...

And now I worry! :sad2:

Debbie- I hope DS stays well and that his fellow students just have a bug.

Today:
Walk (morning)
Walk (evening) I go walking with a few different people and one of them can only walk during the day- so today I will be walking twice
Exercise bike- 3 times- 1 done
Breakfast Bible Study
Salad for lunch
Prayer time
Church - dinner and Bible study
work on swaps- I want to get most of what is on my list done before next week- I have 16 groups that I have to finish that are due by June 15th. (more due after that)

Rebecca

Debbie, I sure hope those kids just have a bug. I'm hoping your DS stays healthy.

My MIL was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. She is having surgery today to remove the mass that's in her colon. She'll be in the hospital 7-10 days after surgery and once she's healed (probably about a month) they'll decide on a course of treatment. DH is handling it all fine, but he's one of those men who doesn't show or talk about his feelings. Any prayers and good thoughts you could send my MIL's way would be greatly appreciated.

My day:
DS to school
Laundry
Wait for call from SIL about MIL's surgery
Let DH know how MIL did
Order flowers to be sent to MIL at hospital
Scout paperwork
Renew library books and movies
Scrap

Have a great day everyone!

Stephanie - prayers and pixie dust your way.
Deb -Is his school in a state where it already is? Or did they come back from Mexico?

Today, I have a lot to accomplish but tonight we have nothing on the calendar... I thought there was something but it was for me during the day! :yay: That will help the kids all get to bed earlier after our late night last night.. DD had her county meet last night... we sat in the rain (boys and DH in the van most of it)for hours last night pouring rain... the kids were soaked... I was soaked even w/ an umbrella... It was the DISNEY soaking you get...but I didn't have any characters or rides to make me smile... Just the sight of my DD racing and doing well... We didn't even get dinner til 9:30pm last night.. than DD had 1.5 hours of homework... the poor thing has 2 tests today too..and one of them from her track coach...

Today:

take night off

**print of new lyrics for LO** One hit me last night when I was sitting in the rain... "Your Gonna Miss This" it'll be 2 page LO

i wondered where your puppy list was! are they getting easier?

It's not that they are difficult. It is just that when they are in the house, they don't want to settle down. I can't leave them alone in the house to do anything. I can't do anything if I'm outside with them. Catch22. I am barely keeping up with the laundry and food prepping. I fear my swap items will be more basic than artsy for a while.

Good luck to DIT's MIL!

Morgan did great last night, thanks for asking. I swear the other team had a ringer! She had to have been at least 12 (okay, maybe not, but she was really tall and what a pitcher!).

Unfortunately, Morgan was also the first to strike out. She dissolved into a quivering mass of tears and said "I don't want to play." This, of course, was the top of the inning at the top of the game (she was the second hitter) and she hadn't even thrown one pitch... She finally calmed down and did great pitching. She was right on target, just a little short of the base, so we have to work on getting her a bit more power behind those pitches. In this league, they let the girls pitch a bit and then the coach comes in and pitches. It's all good...

My day is a good one. Boss's granddaughters are on vacation, so he's taking them to the circus, which means it's just me in the office.

Morgan has chorus at 4:00, and then we have NOTHING planned for the rest of the night! I love that.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I am happy to hear Mogan did well- even after a hard start.

DIT- I am praying for your MIL

Thanks for the encouragement ladies- it really does help.

AWM- it is amazing the work a puppy takes.

I love that song! It makes me just cry. It helps me not get frustrated with the kids, to know that one day I'm going to miss DS's Batmen all over the kitchen floor and doing homework with DD. Ok, gotta stop, going to be blubbering before the day has even started!

Deb, I hope that those guys just have a bug! DS had a fever- low grade and a little congestion and DH was freaking out. There has been a school probably two hours from here that has shut down for a week and a half to help stop the spread of it.

DIT- prayers and pixie dust for you, your DH and MIL.
Holly- good luck tonight! You've got my #... text me. Or I can save you too! Lol!

:flower3: Thank you for all the prayers and pixie dust for my MIL. The surgery went fine. She is currently in ICU, but should hopefully be moved to a regular room in the next day or so.

Very glad to hear DIT! Is Buffy still missing- do we need to send a search party or did she arrive back from the trip unharmed?

Rebecca

4 kids are being tested from the University of Delaware(where DS goes) ...don't know anything about them...

Here is the CDC from today:

States # of laboratory confirmed cases
Arizona 1
California 14
Indiana 1
Kansas 2
Massachusetts 2
Michigan 2
Nevada 1
New York 51
Ohio 1
Texas 16
TOTAL COUNTS 91 cases 1 death

Wow Debbie! That's scary! We just got a report that a Pre-K school is being shut down because of a probable case in a 5 year old. That Pre-K is not far from us. The district is shutting down that school, but hasn't shut down the rest. DH and I were just talking about when we make the decision to take DD out of school regardless of what the district does.
