Congrats to Morgan!!! What a scrapbook page that will be.. I'd rather have it a little hot than the winds we are having now... it's gusting over 30mph at times.. we are under a wind advisory.... that bad thing is..with the wind.. you don't realize you are getting burnt.. Got the bottles of sunscreen stashed by all doors, the 2 vehicles, and soccer bags, track bag. I think the sunscreen companies should start paying me for promotions!!!!

Poor DH... I'd hate that... I'm sure he isn't over the moon about it now is he? LOL

As for the wedding.. me, I'm a chicken.. I wouldn't be going!
We had several of our seniors go to Mexico for spring break...so far, so good no one is sick.... but the risk is everywhere any more for such out breaks... I give the "handwashing" lecture today before each of them left... I got the roll of the eyes..but I know they heard... or I hope they heard.. Good luck with whatever decision you make.
I chopped my hair today (above my shoulders all one length, the lady who put layers in screwed it up big time you could see my layers and they were stair stepped and not right...and I couldn't take it any more)... so I had to go to the top layer to fix it... It's short...but 10.00 says no one notices for at least 2-3 days... Prom weekend for our school is this weekend so I had to get my hair done today or there would be no way to get in on Saturday...

Ugh Tinkryansmom! I've had kidney stones 3 times and they are HORRIBLE! Worse than child birth! Big hugs to DH!

Tinkryansmom- I am not sure- I would probably go, instruct my son not to touch his mouth or nose while handing out programs and have a bottle of antibacterial in my purse for him to use as soon as he was done.

I hope your husband is okay- my husband was having problems last year at this time and it was not pleasant.

So you should eat and enjoy it. It just means that after that Mickey Mouse ice cream bar you dont go have Schoolbread from Norway!

I plan to eat what I want at our dinners (and 1 lunch) that are sit down. If i am not hungry enough for dessert I will just get it to go and use it for breakfast or a late night snack.

I figure that I will probably order a kids meal (and pay out of pocket) for lunch most days or share a meal with DH, not to be cheap but because I find them filling enough (as long as I like what they have to offer). Then DH can use my meal credits for breakfast, I will be having bananas and fruit for breakfast- excpet the day we go to Kona for breakfast.

As far as snacks are concerned if DH will let me have a bite or 2 of his then he can probably use my snack credits and I will just take a few bites, although I will probably get my own smoothie at least once during the week.

Sign me up for Mom of the Year. It's been pouring rain today. Flash flood warnings, tornado warnings, etc. So DS and I were trying to get out the door to go get DD from school. He wasn't feeling great- still running a low grade fever and I was trying to figure out how to get him and our stuff to the car and not get soaked. (We don't have an attached garage.) I saw him put his hand in the door jam, but I also saw him move it. So I turned and shut the door. Next thing I know he is screaming. Yep, I shut the door on his fingers. Luckily I had just made a mental note of where I put my keys, so I could unlock it quickly. He and I were both in tears. He is fine, his fingers are fine. I still get teary eyed thinking about it. Sigh.

Ugh! Have had that happen before... It's heart breaking... WE have that same problem here..no attached garage..no garage at all honestly... so when my little ones were small.. I took them one by one... than the load of crap..than back to the door...

Debbie ~ heat wave is right.. we are due some rain today/tomorrow but it is still BEAUTIFUL and WARM!!! I'm lovin' it! DH said my spirits have done a 180!!! I get the winter blues but he said this year was not as bad as years past!
PO3 ~ my mom hates those CVS automation. She has asked numerous times to be taken off and still gets calls. I told her to call or write corporate to request to be taken off. She said she doesn't like to utilize the automated for fear her meds have changed and she get the wrong dose.

DIT ~ so sorry to hear about TK..and damn right it will be free.. Hello, you paid once already..no way should you pay again! Especially, when they dropped the ball on that one!

Accomplished everything but one thing on my list.. Will do that on Wednesday as I have a list of photos that need developed... now, don't tell DH because the list of photos developed a few weeks ago... are still in a stack! LOL

Thanks Nan! I still feel terrible. DS was telling DH what happened and I burst into tears again.

My eldest can point to the scar on his finger from when I got his finger stuck in the truck door HANDLE. Apparently when you lift up the handle, there is a gap between the truck and handle. My eldest put is finger in there and I let go of the handle. Sliced his finger up good and he still has a scar.
Although that is not as good as when my MIL hit him in the head with car door. She didn't know how close he was to her and opened the door. Knocked him down and then he said "Mimi, I think you knocked the memories out of my head." She still feels bad about that.

Sorry about the kidney stones. I would play a wait and see with the wedding myself if there were confirmed cases of the new flu. Went shopping today and sent DH to Sam's to stock up our pantry. I've been meaning to do it for awhile. This was the kick in the pants.

My MIL still feels bad because she was babysitting DD when she got bit on the lip by a dog that MIL was babysitting. It required a trip to the ER.

Thanks for all of the well wishes for DH - he was up briefly as we had to meet with a potential builder - now he is reading in bed again.

I guess I will take a wait and see on the wedding. Bought everyone cute dresses and shoes....

Not until about 10pm last night.. I had it in a ponytail like normal.. there is a dramatic difference in the length...
The kids and Mike all looked at me...the look was enough to know they were not/are not happy I got it cut. They all say it looks nice but they want it long again.. It's just above my shoulders.... and they are not happy!
