It's HUMP Day!! We are half way thru the work/school week!!! We are on the downhill slide to a great weekend!!!

Today:

send kidlets off to school (next to last day of this week)
reboot laundry
finish last 5 LO's of PJ's sports book
make sure pages are in chronological order (will insert into sleeves tonight)
do because above book is finished!!
run to town for errands
home and put photos into lyric book
do because lyric gift book will be finished!!!
email 4-H leader and see if she has received paperwork for rabbit entrance in fair
email DH about rabbit mtg tonight w/ boys
balance ckbk
once over house
make list for tomorrow

Ugh, I had a long post and I lost it.

Waiting to get the results of the x-ray Morgan had this morning. Which I had to fight for, but regardless it's done. If it's clean, we may have to see the doctor to get an inhaler, since it may be an asthmatic cough caused by allergies. Can't have another night like last night, she was awake at least once an hour, coughing so hard she was gasping for air. I guess if it's not clean, we'll get a prescription for antibiotics.

Congrats on finishing your stuff, Nan!

Buffy, hope the septic is fixed. We went far too long without hot water between the power loss from the hurricane and the water heater. I feel your pain.

Congrats Rachal!!! Fingers crossed everything continues in the right direction (even if it has a dirt lane for a driveway!)... Those rainy days will make for some great memories for you and the kids!!!

yes, I am very excited about having 2 books done!!! (they are still getting finishing touches as I put them together, I notice little things I want to add!!!)

Although, I have had to grab another box of tissues for my "cave"...as seeing how she has grown up it's bitter sweet!! But I have one heck of a girl!!!!

Cheryl, how did the lyric printing go today?

Jennifer, I sure hope the x-ray comes back clean but I so agree that it definitely need to be done if she had such a rough nite last night... that is so hard on them...fingers crossed we get an answer soon so we can get her on the mend!!

I'm sorry if I missed anyone..trying to check in on a fly by... I have 3 loads of laundry to fold yet.... I'd pull them out as I was in a groove and didn't want to give up my scrappin' mojo!!!

I will be taking photos this weekend and will post to a private album and will share it that way...

Jennifer how is Morgan feeling?

I've been fighting with my laptop to import pics from CDs from 2007 The newer computer will not load the pics from the older CDs so I'm having to "improvise", but, at least they're finally loading So no lyrics printed yet! It's going to be a long afternoon

It's not pneumonia. We saw a pediatric resident this afternoon. She was very thorough and I didn't feel like she had no idea what she was talking about. Unfortunately, we don't know if it was a cold that turned into something else or was her allergies starting up. Either way, she has a sinus infection (is on Augmentin) and she gave us a Flonase nose doo-hickey (why yes, that is the technical term). She noticed that she had "quite a bit of post-nasal drip" and that is where the coughing is coming from. We'll see how it goes as this (hopefully) clears out once we get the antibiotic on board.

She'll have to miss the Festival of Cultures tonight, but that's okay. Her health comes first (I think that she was anxious about letting her teacher down).

Thanks Nan. That driveway is a doozy for sure. It's about halfway between here and where dbf wanted to be. But in no man's land so no quick stops at store, or popping in at gmas house, dance studio, etc. . But again its closer to target and new costco. I think I'll survive. Ds will have his own room! And we'll have seperate office and kid spaces!

Now waiting for a call back from the inspector we used last time. If all goes well we'll close first week of june. Girls will finish out school here.

Jennifer- ya for the sort of step forward. Hopefully the meds work.

Thanks ladies. Keeping my fingers crossed too. hopefully with the higher price point its in better condition than the last. seems to be. the bank that owns it even put in new carpet and repainted.

All my chores are finally done! Had a great time with my nephew, he is so cute! Now to relax a little.

Septic is fixed!!!
Guy came out and pumped it today. It was full but he didn't see the reason why we were having issues.
Once empty he found a small clog in the cast iron pipe coming out of the house right at the entrance to the tank. Got that cleared then he checked the rest of the tank. Baffles look good, no blockages to the leaching fields so we are good for another 3-4 years. He also told us about a riser sleeve we can put over the pumping cover so we don't have to dig 3 feet anymore! Love that idea. Well worth the additional $300. DH is hurting from all the digging.
He also said we should be a-ok to put in a pipe/dumping station for the RV. Sweet!

That was expensive but I'm glad that it's done and I had the money in savings so I didn't have to charge it. The one thing I take from David Ramsey, $1000 in the savings account at all times!

Glad it worked out. Septics skeeve me out for some reason, and yes we have one.
