It's Monday.... grab your caffeine and let's kick this work week off to a good start!! I'm pretty lucky on one side of it but sad on the other side... it's a 4-day school week...but it's our last day off til school ends!

Today I have a lot to accomplish...

finish last load of laundry
complete last group of RAK and get ready to mail tomorrow
mail out verification wkst to college (we were one of the lucky ones chosen to prove our tax return! LOL)
complete XC titles
kit XC pages for 2011
lunch
pull pages for tomorrow's scrapfest
boys up from school
homework/snack
boys ready for soccer
grab change of shoes for DS11
grab DS11 from practice early for mtg
DD and DS11 to mtg
dinner
bedtime

Ugh. I'm at work. Got a call on my way that Morgan had vomited. I'm sure it's her allergies. DH went to get her, I made an appointment for her at the doctor. The over the counter stuff is not working, she needs something more powerful for her allergies. Here's hoping that's all it is.

She was supposed to have softball, but because she's sick, she won't be able to go. Wednesday is another game, but the Festival of Cultures is that night, so we won't be able to go then either. Crazy week coming up.

Jennifer maybe Morgan could get a "nasal inhaler" from the doctor. That is what Rachel and I both use. We get "Veramyst" but have also used "Nasanex" in the past. It is amazing how much better the "Veramyst" makes us feel. I hope she feels better soon!!!

Thank you, Cheryl. Unfortunately, I'm not there to take her to the doctor. I'm hopeful that she and DH remember to tell them that the OTC stuff isn't working.

I feel so bad for her. She was so embarrassed to throw up at school, at least it wasn't on the floor though!

Call in and talk to the nurse for the doctor and make them aware that the OTC isn't working... whenever I have had to have DH take the kids in I would call the nurse in the office and she would make notes on their charts! LOL
Sorry Morgan is feeling bad.. hope they get it out figured out and relieve on the way quickly!!

just got an email from DS15 that he was accepted into NHS!!! 2 for 2 kids!!

cropping was a bust... I did a few things, made notes, created titles in DS....but games went longer than expected....

I need to get my backside in gear and head to my "cave" to get things done!

Ds is napping in my lap. So surfing the web and looking at the stuff in the couch to complete an order. I tried.

Pick up mess from kitting pages over the weekend.

It's just not my day. My mom is being admitted to the hospital. She has COPD and has been having more trouble breathing lately, and feeling dizzy. She went to the doctor for a regular old appointment today and her oxygen level was so low that they wanted to admit her and get her stabilized. She'll be fine, but it's just another thing I have to worry about.

They seem to think Morgan has a cold on top of the allergies. Suggested Mucinex during the day and cough drops/tea with honey at night, continuing with the allergy meds. If she's not better in a couple days, she'll need to go in for a chest x-ray. I don't like the sound of that, can't help but think of walking pneumonia.

On a good note, we get out of softball tonight and will miss it Wednesday because of the Festival of Cultures. Not that I want her to miss it, but it's a little cold and damp out there today.

to you Jennifer!! Well, at least they have mom in the hospital and getting her stablized!! I know how scary it was when we had Dad in the hospital recently...

Good to hear they think it may be a cold w/ allergies but the next thought I had was walking pneumonia... Keep her bundled... this wacky weather is really playing havic w/ our immune systems...


The kids had a good day:
PJ was elected President of her 4-H club for her final year.. she has served in office for 8 years at least...
DS11 received an email and he was accepted into NHS after he submitted his application..
now we are just waiting to hear if he won his class officer position!!!

Thank you, Rebecca.

Nan, mom doesn't take good care of herself and this is the result. She's not going to change at this point, but we can always hope!

Morgan is off to school. She *seems* better, but is still coughing quite a bit. She's got a pocket full of cough drops. Hopefully she'll be able to make it through the day.

Hope Morgan makes it thru today!!! I have been dosing all 3 of my kids this week as they have congestion now... Good thing it is a 4 days school week.... but all 3 are complaining about water, itchy eyes too....
