Danica and DS were almost hit again this morning by yet another crazy driver who passed the stopped school bus with its flashing lights on in front of our house as she was putting him onto the bus!

I hate those people. Our bus driver now stops in the middle of the street (one way). Nobody can get by. I have had a few people honk at us - and let me tell you - the mama bear in me comes out. I'm like "Really, you are honking so you can pass the SCHOOL BUS with the FLASHING lights - really? should I call a police officer over and he can tell you which one of us is right? me or you? REALLY?" Let's just say that I never see the same person twice - they take a different route after that.

I'm playing copy cat to everything holly said. Just to tired to type I was scrubbing stoves with a tootbrush today!

Still have fruits to deal with for am honor roll breakfast and all I want is a nap. Have double sports tonight so we'll be passing for dinner l swim at 4 and e baseball at 6.

Was thinking about you yesterday! Danica and I saw the huge pads (or plates) or whatever they are called - for that new monster Sizzix machine you are lusting after.

They were $60 bucks!!!! It would be so great to be able to emboss an entire 12 x 12 page - but wowsers!!!

I was scheduled to work this morning from 8:00 a.m. until noon, but the manager asked me to stay until 2:00 p.m. I'm pooped! We are doing a reset of the scrapping area and the sticker aisle has like nothing on it!! I was supposed to work 8 to noon tomorrow, but he changed that to 8:00 to 4:00!! So, since I'm getting all these extra hours, I treated myself to a Cricut cart since they are onsale at Michaels!!!!

Wow, Pam I can't believe the cops won't do anything. What do they want? A kid to get hurt first? I hope they get their butts out there.

Ann, sorry about Little Bit having such a tough time at the dentist (and you too!). to you both.

Oh, and this morning I got an e-mail from the wonderful scrapbook shop I went to on Saturday and they are closing!!!!!! It's owned by the same lady who owned the one here that closed about a year a half ago. I was curious when I was there on Saturday because even though they said they just got bunches and bunches of new stuff in, the store seemed to be out of a lot of stuff. Now I know why. But, I hate to see another store closing.

My LLS is closing too. Gone as of 4/30. Stuff on sale at 40% except new stuff, ATG guns hmmmmm, wonder about the tape though... I can go through rolls and rolls when the mood strikes. Better check into that this weekend...

I got stuff done today...finally feel like I accomplished something! Now I need some spring plants to make me smile, and I'll be feeling more like me again... Something about working in the dirt in the warm sunshine that is very healing

Dinner is in the crockpot...going to make the cauli-rice now...

Ay yi yi! People are so stupid! Pam, give them heck!

I had a very short nap. Watched a couple of episodes of Arrested Development, funny funny show. Princess had chorus until 4:00 and then we went for a bike ride. Dinner is ready, so I'll have to call her in soon, she won't be happy. There's a reading event at school tonight, but really, I don't want to go. I want to put my PJs on and veg in front of Survivor!

On the Albany NY news last night, the police are going to start riding the school buses and watching the bus stops in unmarked cars in an effort to catch people who pass stopped school buses.
