Wow, I have 2 days off to play with my DIS Buds!! I'm still recouping from the surg on Friday, and I really look bad, but feel great!

Today I have another light day:

ice...ice...baby....

Maybe have to take the dog to the vet...she is limping something aweful!!

Good morning, everyone! Deb, happy 2 days off--glad you're recovering well!!

Work is very CRAZY right now (putting it mildly). So, my lists are going to be touch-and-go over what I'll actually accomplish--maybe doing a list will help me plan, though!!

1. Caffeinate--must do this!!
2. Drop off DS
3. Take clothes to Mom's
4. Work
5. Pick up DS
6. Work at home--hopefully 2 hours or so
7. Order pictures--depends on how much time I have
8. Pack lunches
9. Try to get some sleep!!

Workin' today. As much as I dislike working, I'm thankful for my job.

I got stopped for speeding this morning I was going 47 in a 30 mph zone (I'm sure it was actually a 40 mph zone, but I wasn't going to argue, when he gave me a warning!)! I held it together until after he gave me the warning, I didn't cry until I was driving away. I was sooooo thankful for the warning, the ticket would have been $170! Whew...It was a wake up call, that's what I get for rockin' out to the 80s on 8 (Sirius). I'll slow my butt down All I could think about was, so much for buying SCAL this week!

I have to go to the library at some point today. I have stuff to pick up and stuff to return.

I need to finish Rita's CJ tonight, so I can send it out tomorrow. Not much else planned, except the regular dishes and putting laundry away!

Wow Jennifer you were so lucky!!

I got one from a righteous cop in a little town on the way to the beach 2 summers ago...what a mess! AND they guy had the nerve to say IF I go to court, he will reduce it...what a royal a$$. Go back down to court to fight it just because he didn't want to cut me a break on the spot? Well, as it turned out, DS17 had a terrible accident on his bike right after, and I was taking care of him for 3 weeks, never went to court... points and a fine...

But I'm a stickler for those hidden signs now. It went from 55 to 35 in a blink and you missed the sign... and his attitude was priceless...all full of himself... "Got me a blonde this time...yup, yup, yup" all pulling up his belt and everything... Grrrrrrr...still chaps my hiney when I think about it!

They can be real jerks! I kept repeating "please just give me a warning, please just give me a warning..." Apparently it worked!

I live on a really busy street, so I know better. I blame it on the 80s music! I woke up with a headache, had felt better, and was happy to be listening to old 80s songs...So, my foot got a little lead in it! Again, it's a really good wake up call. I'll take it easier now
