The Daily Grind ~ 3/5/12

Mornin' everyone... Hope all of you had a good weekend..
We got some white stuff on the ground now.. boy talking about Mother Nature adding insult to injury...

I've been up and moving already this morning as I have some major things to get done today after taking DS11 to school. The roads are a bit slick and the way DS11's school set the front drive ices up by the school drop off doors..

Here is what is left for today:

finish last 2 loads of
sweep and mop kitchen floor
DS11 to school
older kids to school
scrap
kit pages for Tuesday (10 pages)
pull 10 t-shirts to cut for DD's t-shirt quilt
pick up DS11
pick up DS15
homework/snack
take DS15 out to drive
print photos for DS11's project (he picked them already and saved them on the computer)
punch holes in binder papers for Disney trip
write up notes of things we want to do at Disney
print park dividers and then the Mickey head labels


I'm sure there is more to add to the list but it'll get done as I go.

The roads are not too bad until you hit the intersections... OMG!! DD and DS15 headed out to HS in the truck... didn't notice her have any issues and her's is the rear-wheel drive... I am behind her a good distance slowing because of the stop sign only to hit the one patch of ice...my abs kicked in...but thankfully even though it slowed us down we ended up in the main road a bit (small bit)...but no one coming either direction... Ok, bring on the sun and spring.. I'm over this stuff!!!!!

I would be insane with all of your snow, don't know how you can handle it so well

I wonder if I should comment that it should be in the 70s here - boys have horsebacking today
got to finish getting ready for work ;(
one week then Spring Break
then 8 or 9 weeks of work after that - I need to figure out the last day
then I should have one week with boys in school all day then have a week where they get out at 11 - finals & they don't have to take test(DS16 can't even write his name it would be hard for him to take the standize test)

Good Morning!

I sit here in the airport at my gate. With the delay on this side I will have 20 minutes from newly scheduled landing time to make it from gate B12 to E40? in Atlanta for my connecting flight- anyone think I will actually make it. That is for my departing time not my boarding time. Boarding of the 2nd plane actually starts before I land in Atlanta.

After work I have to go to the doctor to make sure my issues are not issues anymore!! LOL Then find something for dinner, and then basketball practice. At some point I need to find time to organize trip stuff and clean?? Will someone tell me how my house gets so messy when no one is ever home?? Plus I wouldn't mind watching the bachelor tonight, I never watch TV and somehow got hooked on this season of this show?? Hmmmm...

Afternoon ladies

i went in to work and told her I dragged myself there cause I wasn't sure who would be out. 1 had the flu last week she's back but another one is out. So I functioned we'll call it that.

2nd major dose of advil is in waiting for it to kick in.

E was home today I think he wanted a mental health day with Daddy. he's in the sugarhouse boiling with him now.

I have to go to my last elemtary comfrence today at 4 my baby has grown up much to quickly

Christy I hope you're feeling better this evening!

My interview lasted for almost an hour an a half!!! I spoke with the manager for forty five minutes and then the assistant manager for over 40 minutes. They had me fill out a background check consent form and said they'll "be in touch".

UGH, the stupid server is slowing down again!

Day improved greatly at 4:30...I'm glad I have tomorrow off, I need a mental health day myself. Of course, between laundry and errands, I'll be lucky if I get to sit down for 20 minutes.

Cheryl, I used to work at a LSS. A couple times I got change in my pay envelope Good luck!

Well I am finally home- We had meetings at church this evening after I arrived at 5:50- one started at 6 and the other at 7. I survived the travel day but arrived home to an amazing pile of mail.
