Good Morning!

Okay, who stole the sun? Would you please give it back, I am sick of grey skies!

Has anyone heard from Nan or our other friends who were in storms path yesterday? Praying everyone remains safe.

Josh is home, he looks awful! Cough is not too bad. We made our weekly menu and grocery list last night. Hopefully he will eat since he picked his favorites. He is still sleeping and I will let him as he needs the rest. We are seeing his doctor on Thursday, he has finshed one medication and has a few days left of the other. He is still really drained. I explained that it is going to be awhile before he is feeling better and longer till he is feeling 100%.

Today:

Grocery store
PO to mail cricut swap
works on letters, stuck on the last 3
Dinner Chicken pot pie and salad
Plan movie for tomorrow, we all want to see The Lorax.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Cassey

Good Morning!

know that Nan and Shawna (mickeyteacher) are okay as of last night!
I've been checking in with my NC friends and they are all okay too :goodvibes
not sure about Brooke or if TN got hit hard or not.

Cassey, sleep is the best and LOTS of fluid !! it does take awhile if he overdoes it will take even longer.

Christy, hope you are getting to the bottom of your FIL piles of stuff, you are a wonderful DIL to do all of this :goodvibes

not sure what we are planning for the weekend, Megan wants to see the Lorax too, but reviews aren't great and not sure I want to spend the $$ to see it....so we may stay in all weekend!

need to do for the weekend!

clean house
:laundy:
finish oct WDW album - have 4 more groups of photos to scrap!
package up sports & more swap to mail
make my do to list and packing list for cruise - found an outfit for me yesterday! so that's off my list...still have little things to do/get and don't want to forget.
dinner tonight - chicken fettacini!

hope everyone has a wonderful and and safe weekend!!!

Oh Lisa I wish I was getting to the bottom. I was hoping for the dumptrailer for this weekend but no such luck. I'm a good 2 weeks from getting it clean enough for him to come home to. Now he tells us the dishwasher is dead. since the water is off to the house I can't check this fact out but I'm starting on craigslist to look for a used one. I really burnt myself out last weekend. So I took the week off except for the cake pan washing. Now that I'm ready to go it's pouring rain and I had wanted to move a bunch of totes outside and under a trap so I'm waiting till tomorrow.

On a totally happy note my phone call came in and I will be a very happy scrapper in April.

Last week sometime Jennifer (mm2000) was asking for a roommate for the weekend retreat she goes to every year in april. I've always wanted to do one and so I asked her abt it. She and I and the woman at the resort played phone/email tag for 3 days. but it all worked out in the end and I even got Tom to agree to pay for it as my 40th (gulp) bday present (which isn't till may) so excited:banana:

I promise that I won't wear myself out with the house

I'm fine... hit near the Ohio River area... have family in the area but everyone is fine...
As of 8:30 last night Brooke was fine... I have a message out for her.
Brooke is fine...
I also have a message out for Annie.. Annie just texted back, they are fine too....

Change in plans for today..
need to rattle PJ and get her up and get her glasses.
back home to try to get stuff done when we return

Ok, back to read thru the thread to answer any questions or address anything I missed..

glad to hear you're all safe Nan

I need a swift kick in the butt today to get going all I've done is 2 loads of laundy, sort a 3rd and took out the stack of paper to sort.

Happy to hear that all of you are safe!!!

Today's list:
Scrap
Archiver's

Have agreat day all :)

Glad to hear everyone is doing okay!

Christy, good luck with the clean out! Sorry to hear about dishwasher, you are so good to help out with this for him. Have fun at your weekend retreat!

Got Josh up to eat and take his meds, then put him back in bed to rest. he wants to go hang at his girlsfriends, told him maybe later for a few hours. He agreed, it's nice to know that I can still play mom!

Cassey

So glad Josh is home and resting. Pneumonia is very debilitating, so the best medicine is rest rest rest!

I've been hanging out in my PJs all morning. Morgan is going to a flash mob dance practice at 2:00, I'll do some errands while she's there so I can come home and have DH help me color my hair. I cut the wrong layer in one of the Cricut cuts swap, and need to get more pink paper. I'm quite certain I don't have the right shade here :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: So, I'll go to Jo's while M's dancing. Need a loaf of French bread for dinner (homemade chicken soup) and some eggs just because.

Glad to hear everyone is safe. We've got rain but so far my basement is dry.

happy to hear everyone is safe :goodvibes

Christy great news happy you get to go hang out with Jennifer for the scrap weekend....jealous!!

Wish you could come too!

oh, thanks! wish I could too! maybe someday I'll be able to attend a DIS crop weekend, Megan's still not comfortable about being away from me for that lenght of time, esp if I'm the one gone.

Lisa wish you could come to.

Jennifer :lmao: that's what got me buried under all this paper :lmao: I swear that the first 1000 wasn't enough. I'd better put a big dent in it all and get it from unused to used and in books this year.

Cassey you'll always be able to play mom! Boys always want their Mamma.

I have so much paper it's almost ridiculous. I only bought 5 sheets for this swap though, I'm trying to use what I've got ;)

I still have those totes in my basement full!!! they are going when the trailer comes for FIL's since tom and I are going to end up paying for a load I don't feel guilty.

upstairs in the scrap corner there are 2 2" artbins, 6 1" artbins, 5 cropper hoppers with just dividers and the inside small holders from 3 of them, plus all the unopened packs and the 10 stacks, that doesn't include the heritage stuff, or the boys stuff from when they scrapped. I have an addiction......

just step away from the paper aisle :rolleyes1

I'm really trying hard to only buy what I need for project anymore....and staying away from the paper stacks since I don't use everything in them.

:rotfl: Irene really helped in that regaurd. Our walmat stinks and J's was gone for months, since they've reopened I've bought only the colors to replace what I was lacking since before Irene they had very little 12" in plain colors. I was bad and did buy a few packs of blues that I plan on using for the different beach pages.
Before that was april at ckc. that's why I need to use a ton of it at the crop in April since ckc will be 2 weeks later!

I know the special ed at schools love it when scrappers bring stuff to them
which is where I send mine when I do a clean out
