The Daily Grind ~ 3/20/12

Mornin' all!!! I've been up and movin' this morning and have almost all my chores done for the day...

The rest of the day:

kids up and out the door
sweep family room and entry way
take a 1 hour nap as my reward for getting so much done yesterday
fold last load of laundry
kit the next group of photos for PJ's books
work on PJ's lyric book (goal to have it done by Monday)
make sure PJ has scholarship ready to be turned in tonight at mtg
PJ home for lunch and then back to work
clean basement for 1 hour (not much to do, it's pretty clean)
pick up boys
HL for photo squares
DS15 to driver's ed
home to prep dinner for the family; eldest is home for spring break and is coming over for dinner before he returns to school tomorrow (some interview at the school).


await DH to call and see when we can pick up the new car... today is booked...so much going on may not be able to pick it up til tomorrow morning. Have key... will pick up tomorrow morning!

It's going to be another beautiful day in the 80s again...

I better get these kids going!!! Have a great day!!! Enjoy!!!

maybe cut last group for topper and tag swap

Happy Spring!

Changing beds, doing laundry, going to the grocery store. Lots and lots of fun stuff. I do need to test my Cricut on the new laptop, ProvoCraft was kind enough to reset my authorized computers so I can use the new lappy at the weekend crop in April. Have to go through patches and stuff for our girl scout meeting on Thursday, make a sample "kite" for the Rubber Ducky River Race event in May, etc., etc. Want to make a Bunny Peep Easter card or 10 for the nieces and nephews. (Thanks, Rachal!).

Softball clinic starts tonight, but MCAS start tomorrow, so Morgan can't stay the whole time at the clinic. I'll pick her up early.

Oy, my crazy cat is racing around the house! Must be spring fever!

play with Kindle tonight some more - get all our must haves loaded!
bed early - just wiped out from the weekend and my 4 day migraine!

Nan--Sarah is also working on a few more scholarship applications and she has a bad case of "senioritis" that I hope disappears over spring break next week!

Glue together 5 more "cuts" groups
M's or J's for scrappy glue and maybe paper
Pay bills online
Spring clean laundry room (it's a dumping zone--maybe the whole family should help)
Dinner--popcorn shrimp and baked potatoes

Senioritis is soon going to turn in to "fund-itis" here.. .I told her that she needs to get her senioritis in check.. or I'm going to pull my funds from her education... Needless to say, she got her scholarship done tonight... and there are only 3 seniors so they hopefully will split it between the three... all three of them are very good members!!!


Went to HL tonight... 50% off their 3 ring-binders... I grabbed 4 of them..and think I will run back up and grab 2 more this weekend... We will have to see..

I need to see what I accomplished on the list today..

evening all
I've been popping in but don't have much energy to type. having enough trouble keeping up my FB and the farm pages. Sugarings insane and Tom and I are cleaning every pm when I get home for 3-5 hours then he boils til 2 am. I try to sleep and get the kids up and out while he catches a few more zz's. I'm headed to crash now, just can't keep the eyes open anylonger.

Hope alls well here I think about you all and I will be SOOOOOO glad when the dumpster leaves on friday. I like to say I'll sleep sat but we have open house weekend for sugaring and I have to at somepoint set up the display for that at the local 1 room school house. Hoping to see PBF and family on sat too.

In my house, we would call this "positive re-enforcement". makes me feel like I am still in charge.

Christy, what a schedule you have. Get as much rest as you can when a spare moment allows. You don't want to get sick.

My Tuesday to do:

feed cats. One was hiding and scared the living tarnation out of me. He normally sleeps with me, and "helps" me get ready for the day, and he ALWAYS scolds me when I go downstairs for his breakfast but he was a no show. Thought the worst and spent most of the morning looking for him. DH found him later under the headboard in our room. That darn cat!
