Red is usually a fast fader - give it a week - I'm red anyways but if it is a dark red it usually takes a week to look right

I normally do natural reds. But decided to do something fun since I don't have to work. So this time we did unnatural red. On top it blends nicely with a pop of color. Under where we bleached first is fire engine red. It just needed a few good shampoos yesterday.

So DH opened the top of the washer(front loader) he thinks the berrings are gone. It makes the most awful noise as it spins. Told me not to use it...well I am thinking he is going to the laundry mat on Sunday before the game starts. He can wash then haul home so I can dry. Thinking just a few loads to get us through a few days.

There goes all the change I have been saving!

Cassey, if it screams at you during the spin cycle then the bearings are gone... it dropped it's transmission! (have you seen blue fluid, almost reminds you of liquid detergent from underneath?).... I only know this because when our repair man was over last year that is how he explained it to me.. he told me with a family of 7 it had dropped it's gear and ran for the hills!!! It was a heavy duty too... darn thing...

No blue fluid, but it does scream! DH talked to Whirlpool, told them the situation, they told him the parts are probably still under warranty but labor could be up to $400. She talked him into buying a service plan that will cover the labor and technician for $300. She told him that if the washer can't be fixed they will cut us a check to replace it. We will see on Monday, I really hope that it can be fixed as I love my washer and don't want to figure out how to use a new one!

I remember when I was younger(am one of a family of 7), the washer and dryer were constantly going....Mom was forever telling one of us to change our laundry over. You really never appreciate what your parents do until you are a parent yourself. I keep thanking both of my parents now that I am older and wiser. I just hope that I am as good a parent as they were.

Yes, they do. We have Mickey and Minnie shaped brushed brass knobs in two of our bathrooms.

Morgan had a procedure on her toe last night and is trying to get out of dance. We'll see.

Going to see One for the Money tomorrow with two of my sisters. I'm so afraid I'm not going to like it (LOVE the books!).

DH took MomE and I to One for the Money. I didn't think it was as good at the books, but then we love the books. I think Grandpa Mazur should have had more depth, though we did like it when she shot the turkey at the dinner table.

Oooh, I want a snow day! I don't want a season like last year, but we need a good storm or two!

My Friday was:

feed cats
make bed
wood in the woodstove
work - do my best to get thru the day.
call drs office on lab results. "oh no, those results will take 48-72 hours"
Hairdressers - We all got haircuts so we will be spiffy for vacation
Drop of meal for family in need.
Watch dvr episode of Top Chef and Project Runway

I thought it was cute. Morelli grew on me pretty quickly but not so much Ranger. Grandma was funny. Lula cracked us up. It was fun to hang out w/my sisters though.
