Is the weekend really the weekend if you have to work? Sigh....

Take pups to the vet for shots... can't go in the kennel if it's not up to date...

Deb, are you going to be at WDW after the cruise?

Going to AKV. The boys will fly down the day we get back from the cruise and we are going to visit my dad and his wife in Tampa. I was thinking of going to one of the mini golfs...we have never done them because we always do the parks, but time is short this trip...

Have ressies at BOMA with the boys, then the boys fly home and I'm staying 1 more day with DH and going to the poly luau. Then headed back home visiting friends on the way back...

Deb, we always do the mini golf one evening when we're at WDW. My favorite is Winter-Summerland. DH & DS like that one too, but they prefer Fantasia Gardens.

Please keep your fingers crossed for DS. He goes to audition today at his #1 college choice. He's already been accepted into the program. This audition is for scholarship $$. The school has already offered him full out-of-state tuition, but the theatre department may give him even more $$.

I will be at Michaels this morning to teach my scrapbook class and then it will be home to do lots of tidying up and cleaning since my Mom is coming up tomorrow to celebrate my birthday. Gotta have a clean house for Mom!

Good Morning!

Deb- the mini golf courses are fun- we have done all of them (except the actual putting green one and Fantasia gardsens. A good way to spend an hour or 2- we brought our youth over and they loved them when we were on a Night of Joy trip.

Today:

clean house (the house inspection is tomorrow)- we have to have the head of the trustees and the head of SPR over once a year for a house inspection to check and see what needs to be done each year

I've always wanted to do the winter-summer mini golf but in the countless trips I've taken I've never done it. That will be a goal.

Steph - best of luck to your DS - I know he'll be great! It will be fun to spend time with your mom!

afternoon all

been a while we had a crazy week and still crazy weekend.

E won his ball game this am 20-13 against the team they lost to at the beginning of the season. so we play again tomorrow am. If we wil we play next weekend.

L has to be at the pool in a few hours then we'll be home abt 8 pm from regionals.

Sometime this weekend Tom I going to pick up 2 new members of the family (four legged ones) Jewel is a running (vs a treeing) walker hound and there is a beagle that needs a home too. Just shoot me now. at least these 2 are outdoor only.

off to change to summer cloths for the sauna of the pool deck

The teens even cleaned up most of the trash so all I had to do was vacuum

The kids all dressed up (me too ) and "Frank" had a great time posing for pictures and actiing out the movie! Most of the other kids helped her act it out (they're all drama/music kids), but, I promised I wouldn't post any pictures. They were so funny! I was thrilled when I went downstairs and discovered they had cleaned up

Cheryl, the party sounds like it was such fun!

DS had a great time at the audition. He says that he felt it went really well. He said they really liked that he was interested in all aspects of theatre and not just acting. Now, we'll wait and see if he gets a scholarship. He's still thinking about where to go, but he did say that this one (the campus and the theatre department) felt right.
