Stinks you all have to shell out money right after xmas, hope everything gets fixed up and pixie dust nothing else goes bad!

New water heaters, new stoves, car repairs!!!! Yuck!

I'm hoping DH can just replace the element in my stove. I'd love a new stove and this would be a great time to say I need one since this one is old and ugly, but with DH's job still up in the air, I don't want to spend the $$ on a new stove right now. DH found a parts store today and he said he'll take my stove's element to the store on Thursday and he's pretty sure he can just get a new one. I hope so. I miss my oven already. I love my crockpot, but I work everyday this week and I won't run my crockpot when I'm not home. My Mom had one that caught on fire and I'm paranoid about leaving anything going when I'm not home now.

Deb, good to hear your son is ok. How scary for you.
Tinkryansmom, I hope the wee one feels better soon. She has a week and a half to get in tip top shape. Definitely better now than then.

My Monday to do:

Feed cats
take dawg out. She and Mom have been stayed over for Christmas and ended up staying longer with the storm.
Caffeinate at DD
Call colleague to double check if the office is open
DH to take me into work
Find out office is closed. Thanks colleague for not telling me when I called you this morning.
DH pick me up
Lunch out with DH.
Home for a nap
