The Daily Grind ~ 12/23/15

Good Morning!

P & PD to all!

2 days till Christmas. Are you ready? We just need to make some fresh cookies and prep some items for our Christmas Eve dinner tomorrow. I don't cook on Christmas Day. We have a buffet of leftovers and enjoy our time together.

PJ took her 4 sections of content testing for her teacher license yesterday and she PASSED all 4 sections! Only one more test and her graduation and she can apply for her teaching license in May!

Today's agenda:

run to bank to sign paperwork
await storms hopefully they won't be as bad as expected
once over house
kids each get a job today to help out
practice more on new digital software (going to do some Disney pages digital because I just have too many good photos to use!)

I still have a few more Christmas prep items to do. Congrats to PJ on her testing achievement!

Today:
work on and finis? girls stockings
take B to get present for DH and pick up a few stocking stuffers for him at the same time
bake lemon cookies (dough is done just slice decorate and bake)
dinner- porkchops
cut bananas and maybe work on distributing a few to friends
make up a couple more cookie packets for church members
work on cards for friends whose addresses I have because they sent me cards
buy/wrap gift for my niece whom I had forgotten
small grocery trip for some fresh vegies
tonight - maybe star wars movie(it has been sold out each time we have tried to go- we only have a 70 seat theater that plays 1/day in town) or holiday concert in the park

defrost chicken and chuck roast for tomorrow's dinner
quick once over on house
Megan to do sheets and remake beds
work on homework
get tables set up for tomorrow
clear countertops of things we don't need - doing a taco buffet style dinner tomorrow
package up a few cookies for neighbor lady, she's letting my mom use her extra parking spot tomorrow and drop off
work 1:00-4:00
marinate meats
dinner - something easy
