It's Friday!!!

So yesterday I saw that I might be able to leave work early, asked the boss, and got conditional approval...if everyone comes in when they should, I'll be able to leave

17 days till I can book excursions and spa and Palo on the cruise

My list for today:

Caffeinate...This repeats everyday

Feed Pups

DIS/FB

Swish, Swipe, and Swiffer



Pack a dinner...more ham...

Work 3p-7p (hopefully)

Good morning, everyone! It's FRIDAY!!!!!! HAPPY DANCE TIME!!!! Just 6 working days (counting today) til I get to be off with DS!!

Deb, that everyone comes in on time so you can leave early!

Here's my list for today:

4. Layout 2 scrap pages
5. DS's stuff together
6. DS up
7. DS to mom's
8. Work
9. Pick up DS

15. Go to sleep early!

This has been a lonnnnnng week! I'm determined to get some rest & relaxation in this weekend! I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

DS's opening night was last night and the kids were fantastic! I loved the play!!!! The director of the theatre department and another representative for Troy University was at the school yesterday. DS talked to them yesterday during school and then they saw him in the play and they really want him at their school. They've told him that if he applies he will most likely get a full scholarship based on his grades and his theatre performance abilities!!! Oh wow!!!! I'm so proud of my baby!

Today will be a busy busy day. My Mom, MIL, and SIL are coming tomorrow to celebrate DS's birthday and see him in the play. DS's bday isn't really until the 15th, but we'll be at WDW that weekend so they are coming early and this way they get to see the play. Anyway, I've got lots of decorating to do (we're doing a Toy Story theme!) and I've got to clean clean clean (and hide extra junk) since they will all be staying the night as well. Can't have them seeing what slobs we really are!

So today:
Make sure DS takes check for this month's dance classes
DS up and off to school
Laundry
Bills
Clean everywhere
Tidy and organize all the rooms
Call WDW to make a change in reservations
Grocery shopping
Organize the swap boxes for the Everyday Swap and find a new spot (other than my dining room) for them to reside
Make some more Toy Story decorations
Hide all the decorations so that I can set them up first thing in the morning to surprise DS!
Work on swap
Stitch
Pick up DS's birthday cake
See DS in show again!!!!
Try to sleep -- I know I'll be making lists in my head of all the things I need to do first thing in the morning before the family gets here.

my word for today in TIRED where's that smiley of me with a bed. mom left at like 11:30 and then I finished cleaning and picking up the house. We had fun although I ended up with a much smaller crowd than normal. 2 ended up having to work, 3 ended up affected by calling hours 1 whose family it was and 2 cause the daughter was filling in for the other at work so her and her mom couldn't come.

Good Morning, Ladies!

Congratulations to the Thespian! Scholarship - YEAH! (breakaleg)

LAst night was stamp club and although I held myself to about 2 tablespoons ful of coffee and one cookie, I could not sleep when I got home. Maybe that was a good thing, because when I went back to bed at midnight, I slept straight through til 5:30 and then went back to sleep until 6:30. That's the longest in a stretch I've slept in months, so I'm happy! On the downside, I missed pool. Oh well.

DIT, tell Andrew Congrats!! That is fabulous news.. now have him sit down and get that application filled out this weekend! I know we took PJ's transcripts in and one school said she thought that with her grades and PSAT scores that way over 1/2 of her school would be scholarshiped! Knowing that PJ has buckled down even more..as of last night when they checked grades as they are due today for the grading period she had a 3.9 GPA for this trimester.. Woohoo!!! Has Andrew been to see Troy and shown interest in it.. I know he was liking the school in town (the rival school.. LOL)

Thanks everyone for the congratulations for DS!!

He's talked about Troy a few times, but he hasn't applied to them or listed them as one of the colleges to get his SAT or ACT scores. But, he's mainly focused on Florida colleges (FSU is still his #1 choice) since with his grades and volunteer hours he qualifies to receive Florida's Bright Futures which will pay almost 100% of his tuition for an in-state school and we told him we wouldn't pay out of state tuition so if he went out of state he'd have to get a scholarship. Since Troy has stated they'd possibly do even better than Bright Futures, he's going to go ahead and apply and we'll take a visit over there to look at the college and get a feel for it too. Then, once all the colleges have made their decisions he'll have a good choice of schools to choose from and he can decide which one he thinks fits him best.

Late check in today...I've been out running errands all morning. Almost naptime-gotta finish the Woody pp's for the couples swap. They are taking FOREVER!! Then I need to get started on Buzz.

We're putting the Disney tree up tomorrow!! Our goal is to have most of the decorating done before we leave for our trip (13 more days!!!) so when we get home we're not so stressed about getting it all done.

DH and I went to neighbors where our horse barn was delivered (he has a forklift!) and a paved road!!
Reboot laundry
going through mail
picking up piles
4 year old horse unseated me yesterday - first time ever - and I am sore today. TMI but my upper right cheek is numb. hoping that is just an trauma/swelling issue. If not I see some xrays and an MRI in my future. So I am going for swelling.
Neighbor and I are going to play a little hookie today and go to lunch. We are still early release this week for conferences. She is dealing with a bullying issue at school and I am sad for her and her son. I hope the school actually steps up on this one.

4H kids to horse barn after school for one last Skills Day cram session. And I am going to go stick my tongue out at our 4 year old horse.

Dinner?? chicken and broccoli alfredo me thinks.
