The Daily Grind ~ 11/28/11

Well, it's time to start this week off abit sluggish after the holiday/shopping weekend! Hope everyone had a great holiday and shopping excusions were successful! Our holiday was a flop... DD brought home some germs and I spent Thanksgiving taking care of her and washing everything in the house.... the boys were a bit queasy but didn't get it like she did... My house was cleaned big time... my washer/dryer ran non-stop for 3 days! They were ready to revolt!! Shopping.. don't do BF..but DH found an awesome deal on DS15's IPod... DD is getting a new camera... was going to get her a fridge because she asked for dorm stuff but I think a better point and shoot camera is better... Plus I have to order the Open Heart necklace she has been asking for... DS10 is the hardest to buy for....Dsis got him a nano....so the Ipod route was a bust..

DD up for her last 6AM shift at the day care.. she is going to strictly afternoons now... with a few mornings scattered about... only because in bad weather she is closest to school if we have to open...
empty dishwasher
ck email/DIS/FB
DD off to work
clean scraproom
boys up
set up laptop and CDS
make beds x 4
keep boys on track
boys to school
cut CDS titles that got tossed to side this weekend
pull all papers for Big Give **Must complete today**
scrapbook 2 envelopes
complete 6 Epcot pages (Big Give) 3 done; fighting w/ title for 4th one
order DD's gifts (DH will take care of one because he has gift card; I will do other) out of stock..what?? Really, DH to try store directly
cut group G2 and G1
pick up DS10 from school
assemble G2
homework duty
make turkey pot pie for Tuesdays dinner
dinner
tree decorating tonight



I have to dig down deep and get my lists done... I'm way behind with last weeks craziness!!!

Oh Nancy, my energy level is drained after reading all you accomplish in one day!! Maybe when the girls were younger, but now that would take me close to a week!!!!
With my reduced hours teaching now (love that part of retirement) today is a late start day - love it!! Did accomplish a lot this mornng but now the "tough" work begins.

Nan, sorry to hear PJ was so sick, not a fun way to enjoy a holiday weekend.

I didn't do anything yesterday! had a headache and still feeling under the weather....just home from the Dr. still have fluid in my ear canal's , vertigo is about the same, still no infection so keep doing what I've been with meds, etc.

today:

finish last bit of decorating
start bringing boxes back to garage
clean kitchen
cut letters for holiday swap - need to finish this week!
balance checkbook
p/u megan
ballet class

Working. Still not feeling 100%, this cold is kicking my butt. My ears are ringing, probably will need to go to the doctor before the week is out.

My day went south very quickly. So I have not accomplished much.
I have a meeting at 7pm and then I am done for today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

turn down the heat
fold load of laundry
finish packing for business trip
get DD up and ready for school. Oh, she did NOT want to get up
Put garbage and recycle out. DH usually does this but he is away
Stop at work to pick up new phone for colleague
fly to DC
My colleague talked me into taking the Metro to the hotel. Won't do that again lugging 41 pounds of suitcase. And of course the last escalator was broken.
Check in with home
Dinner out.
