I'm late today!

So it's The Day After Monday!! It's almost the holiday! My DH is doing the market run today

My list for today:

Caffeinate...This repeats everyday

Feed Pups

Check DCL... This will repeat every day...

DIS/FB

Swish, Swipe, and Swiffer

Make cuppycakes We are having a little appeteaser party tomorrow for my dear friend who is retiring. Her last day is Friday.

Pack a dinner for work
Work @ 3p

Well its freezing cold, schools shut down, took people hours to get home last night.....that's S*** in Seattle for you! the roads are an icy mess and since we have so many hills its quite the mess!

So we are staying home and cozy today!
Think we will work on Megan's gift for the family
finish up cleaning and get laundry put away
maybe work on scrapping

who knows what else

Good morning! Yay for almost Thanksgiving! Mom's surgery is today, so we are anxiously awaiting the call that she's finished.

Deb--I hope DCL is good to you today!
Lisa--S***?? WOW! Enjoy your day!

My day needs to be a busy one, but I'm feeling bleh--not sick, just unmotivated!

Here's my list:

1. Up
2. Caffeinate
3. Breakfast
4. Check in at work
5. Laundry
6. Clean bathrooms
7. Clean kitchen/dining
8. Get clothes ready for pics tomorrow
9. Lunch
10. Play outside if not raining
11. nap
12. Get ready to go see mom
13. Get DH's clothes from cleaners
14. Double-check pic clothes again
15. Watch "NCIS"
16. Go to sleep sort of early!

Lisa- Enjoy your s*** day! It's too early to be thinking s***!!! But I was thinking, last year it was just a couple of weeks from now and we started to get dumped on!

Here's hoping for a milder winter this year!!!

I am having my coffee and 1/2 a bagel
cat threw up all over my pendleton wool blanket on the pull out for Dad - so that is being washed gently.

I need to:
check with cabinet company
fill out pre-school forms
check weather and if a break - run and get new cubby system for craft room in new house - its sitting at jcPenney at the mall
take med file back to dr -
PU check
enter fundraiser - wrapping paper orders
check with school to see if any orders there
pay DDs lunch acct - sent 20 to school with her - did not make it on to acct
bank if not horribly busy
dinner - chicken

Deb - did the DCL site work for you? I hope you get the ressies you need.
I got my online check in done - will need to print those forms out - also got my stateroom assignment! Finally feels like we are going on a cruise!

Oh cool... it's nice to know where your room is!

Were you able to online check in for everyone? I've never done it online. We always got the books delivered for past cruises. I was going to do ours this weekend. I hope I can do both of us...it's just easier for me to do it. The booking window for the 2nd cruise opens on Thurs midnight for Friday. Hopefully there wont be any maintenance on the site then. But it's a 3day, so no brunch

Nope, nothing has opened up. The brunch wasn't open when others on my cruise got on early in the morning when the silver booking window opened, so it must have booked with the platinum and gold peeps. We lowly silvers...sigh...

day was UGH 185 meals out today all hot too!!! I'm putting my feet up and going to open a bottle of wine.

It's been rainy and yucky here today and I'm still fighting the cold maybe a bubble bath would go nice with my wine.......

Have a great day all it will be early to bed for me. Tomorrow I have hot meals for 50 and frozen meals for them plus the normal weekend frozens. Plus inhouse meals......

Hope everyone is feeling better. Waiting on good news on Brooke's Mom and Caroline's DGD!

I got a bit done today. Just a bit, can't have DH thinking I can do this every day I'm off!

Morgan is off to my sister's for the night. She doesn't have school tomorrow and I have to work. She's going to help get Barbie's house ready for Turkey Day. She'll probably get to see Sophie tonight too...Lucky kid.

Yes you can check in online for everyone. You can then print the docs and take them with you to the port.

We are silver level too and not too many Palo dinners came up before 9 pm and no brunches. Just keep checking back - as people plan their excursions and whatnot it seemed like a few opened up. People on my DIS Meet thread were saying they "withhold" a certain number of spots for onboard booking so I will keep my fingers crossed we get that and you do too!

Any news on SIOHs Mom? Any baby news?

well we have another s*** day tomorrow, I guess the roads are still a bit icy! Megan's excited cause now she gets to stay up and watch the final DWTS tonight, just ordered pizza and watch a holiday movie in our jammies before DWTS.

Checking in with news on my mom--I'm sorry, I've been waiting on the "official" answer. She had some problems in her female area (had a hysterectomy 16 years ago), and they needed to separate her bladder from it to rebuild it today. I've been calling it "Handy Manny's Big Construction Job". When they started the surgery, in separating the bladder and female area, the dr perforated her bladder. So, they had to sew it closed and stop the surgery. She now has a catheter for the next 6 days (gets to take it home--what a Thanksgiving gift!). And then it's 4-6 weeks recovery and THEN we talk about whether they'll do it again. She is hoping that they can wait to do it the 2nd time (it will depend on how she feels physically) in May or June, so I'm off and don't have to miss a lot of work.

Please send prayers and pixie dust our way and thanks for all you've sent so far!!!

fold a load of laundry
throw a load into the washer/dryer
wrap DH's birthday present. Happy Birthday, sweetie, and now happy birthday to Isabella Elizabeth.
Get DD up and ready for school
write in DD's communication book
caffeinate
work
see if any of our local DD's have a thermos as another gift for DH
put gas in the van before it goes over $3.10 per gallon
home - dinner lasagna, salad and birthday cake
