The Daily Grind ~ 11/22/11

Got the family up and off to work/school.. Texted with Buffy as they were leaving the Cape to head home.... Took a nap... time to check in here and then run to town for a few items and kick it into overddrive to accomplish a small list I have....


Today:
burn two CDs to have DS15 turn in for PJ's Senior PDA.
cut group G2 for DHS swap
scrap 4 envelopes
sort MK '08 photos/memoriabilia I found in a drawer. (most of it is duplicates and a zillion maps!)
pull turkey to thaw
start dinner... we are having swiss steak tonight.. I need to get it in the crockpot by noon!!!!

Morning all....I'm still sick....this vertigo is really kicking my tush! you know I must be sick since I'm not posting things must be starting to drain as I now have a cough....staying home and resting as much as I can! so happy I finished my shopping and cards before I got sick!

I have to make it thru 4 more hours of work, and then I have 5 days off. Woo Hoo!! After work its dinner, laundry and cleaning. I'm going to try and get all the work out of the way, so I play tomorrow morning before I have to start cooking for Thursday.

Good Afternoon!

I had a great time at Disney- now I am trying to find someone to join me at Epcot next Thursday- they have to be over 18 and I have a free ticket if they need it.

We ate at Portabella Yacht Club for lunch today and it was amazing.

Not sure what else I am going to do today other than dinner- which I may have DH cook on the grill. I do need to get packages ready to mail tomorrow but that will be my main activity this afternoon.

Me & boys are home for Thanksgiving Break
I forgot my Pluto file - never got it cut so I'm cutting him to make sure all 16 plutos work (hmmm I think the DHS swap is going to get some Plutos for a surprise - not sure what to do with that many at this moment)

Finally home.
Service was good, although a little preachy. I'm not a big fan of Catholic funeral services but Grandma would have been sooo thrilled that the Monsignor gave the service.

Tonight I'm kind of vegging and the rest of the week is an all out war on the house. It's a disaster!!!!

Just returned home from work....

Dinner???!!! Really am I the only person in my house who can defrost something for dinner, guess so, so we are having leftovers!

Catch up on email and DIS.

Meeting with town selectmen at 8:15. Too tired but I need to hear what they are planning for next year's budgets for our schools.

Crash into bed and get up to work all day tomorrow.

I'm not sure I will be able to DIS tomorrow so I am going to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and remember to enjoy your time with your family. Make some happy memories and take lots of pictures!!!!
