Ugh - I'm glad we're required to close on Thankgiving, otherwise I'm sure I'd be there.



We have that too, but luckily I get my fines waived because of working there. A lot of people complain to me about the price, but they're always jerks. If they were nicer, maybe I'd feel bad that they had 20 dollars in fines...

Then again, they're also the ones who scratch the DVDs so badly that we need new ones, so maybe they're just paying their dues.

Well, I'm actually not unhappy about working Thanksgiving evening since I'll get time and half and it gets me out of going down to DH's relatives and visit with tons of folks I don't know. And, my manager promised me he'd let me shop some too! So, it works for me!!!!

Wow, I'd freak out if I had $20 in fines. I feel guilty if my books are a day late!!! I'm good with the DVD's because I don't want to pay that $1. But, if they are scratching up the DVD's they deserve those fines. It's so simple to take care of them: take them out of the case, put them in the DVD player, and then put them back in the case! What's so hard about that? Plus, if I didn't put it back in the case right away, I'd be the one taking the empty box back and the disc would still be at home!!!

I know! A million and one excuses... "I put the camera on the chair in front of me to steady it...don't know why it (they!) came out blurry... The light was bad...I couldn't use the flash..." Story, story, story...sheesh!

i should have just taken them myself. That will teach me to delegate... The good thing is that her homeroom teacher/science teacher is the one who took the official photos - so maybe my picture mooching (with a box of homemade fudge as a bribe?) will work.

She does look a lot like Z2H - more with each passing year, but will be a LOT taller. Her hair used to be very blonde, too, but seems to be darkening with the years. Apparently, DHs did this too.

Well, I went to the market WITH DH today. Honestly, how much does it stink that the healthier foods cost so much more than the processed foods. I got the eggplants to make the no pasta lasagna...10 bucks for eggplants, but it would have been $2 for the pasta... Then the apples for the pies vs. canned apple pie fillings... It's no wonder we as a nation are getting fatter and fatter, but it costs so much to buy the stuff on the outsides of the market...while the stuff in the isles you can get 10 for $10... sigh...

Russell is my least favorite too. He's rotten. But, I've actually been rooting for him the last few episodes because I think he's played the game the best and deserves to win.

And, I know just what you mean about watching the show and learning from it. It still amazes me how many people go on this show and don't know how to make fire!

He's a complete snake, but his game play is good!

Do they not let them use their glasses to make fire? I mean, really, isn't that a way to do it?

This makes me absolutely crazy. It's so much easier and cheaper to eat crap than it is to eat healthy! Something needs to be done!

Wow. I swear when I woke up this morning, I felt horrible. By lunch time, I was feeling much better. By 2pm I didn't need to use tissues anymore. This is the shortest cold I have ever had or the weirdest allergy attach. I still have a bit of headache, but for the most part, I think I better go work on some laundry.

That isn't Z2H?!!!! Oh my gosh, at first I thought it was a picture of Z2H from a few years back. No doubt they are sisters!!! Adorable!
