Good Morning!!

Nancy, that is quite a list! Good luck getting it all done and having some time for yourself in there.

Cheryl, :yay: for less crazy days! I won't be seeing any of those for awhile.

my list for today:

Work, need to get some supplies from Staples, balance checkbook, pay bills. Sometimes I feel like I do all these things twice, oh wait I do, once for work and once for home!
Dentist at 1:45
pick up Julia at 5 from drama
Dinner? still have not made the grocery store and I'm not sure when I can fit it in.
Maybe if I am not too tired, design some letters for Holiday swap.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

I took today off work since it's DS's 19th birthday. I've been getting things together this morning so that we can celebrate tonight! DS says that 19 is a boring year compared to all the other teenage years. His logic behind that is that at 13 you become a teenager, at 14 you go to high school, at 15 you get your learners permit, at 16 you get your drivers license, at 17 you can go see an R rated movie by yourself, and at 18 you are considered an adult. He says you get nothing for 19!:rotfl: So, DH and I decided to throw him a "boring" party for his birthday since 19 is no big deal. I've covered the table is leftover brown paper from when we moved years ago and all his presents are wrapped in brown paper or are in brown paper bags. I wrote "Happy Birthday! It's only 19, no big deal" on the paper covering the table and tore bits of brown paper and scattered on the table as confetti. His party plates are just plain ol' white paper plates and we have white plastic forks. For napkins we have paper towels. I was going to make a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and no decorations for the cake, but I changed my mind. I went to the bakery and got lots of yummy cupcakes (boston cream pie, peanut butter, german chocolate, and raspberry chocolate). I am going to put one of the boston cream pie ones on the table (it looks like an un-iced chocolate cupcake) since it looks boring.

DS came in a little while ago and just laughed! He loves it and says it's a great idea! I'll take photos later when everyone is here. Then, we are going out to dinner at a Japanese restaurant that DS loves. I think he'll have a great birthday!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Stephanie, love your birthday idea! So creative! I may have to borrow it for my DS's 19th next year. He would really get a kick out of it.

What a cute idea, Stephanie!

I dropped my phone in the foot bath when I was getting a pedicure yesterday. :headache: I am such a doofus. No time to get a new one, so I'll have Morgan's for the trip. I am able to get a free upgrade on the 30th, so it won't be too long.
