It's The Day Before Friday!!!!!

So, AWM you were right about the 2 flu shots...DH seems fine DS17 seems fine too...no fever, same teenage boy angst. I've taken back the right to nag about taking meds though...Dr Mom knows that ALL the meds need to be taken, at the proper time, to knock this thing. I'd like those tonsils to stay in him, and not have to have the surg this late in the game...

Still no little friends in the traps...so really am thinking that 1 was THE one and only. DH says while he was waiting to be set free, he was texting all his little friends to aviod these new fangled traps

My list for today:

Flybaby stuff when I get home...

Dinner... Maybe some beef roast?

Good morning! Woohooo for Thursday, my favorite day of the week!!

I slept in again. . .DS's fever went up last night, so DH is off today to take him to the pediatrician. SO, SO thankful that we both have jobs where they are "family first"!!!

Here's my list for today:

1. Up
2. Caffeinate
3. Empty dishwasher
4. Get DS's stuff out
5. Leave note for DH
6. Back out without hitting DH
7. Work
8. Straight home from work
9. Take care of DS & DH!!
10. Dinner--???
11. Week of P365 journaling at work
12. Fold laundry--I HAVE to do this!!
13. Wash laundry
14. Get clothes out for tomorrow
15. Grocery list
16. Figure out what we're doing this weekend--will depend on DS
17. P365 pic
18. Go to sleep sort of early!!

Today is a light day.

Get kiddos to school.
Go to Hoxworth and donate double red today. [read in the Wall Street Journal that there is a blood shortage due to the normal givers being sick and other being afraid of getting sick while donating]
Walk around Archivers.
Get some soup in a bread bowl at Panera.
Head home to make dinner and straighten up.
Pick up Little Bit at school.
Home work, dinner, playtime with kiddos.

I've gotten my morning chores done..
Going to the HIGH SCHOOL (the forbidden zone) to volunteer today!!!! Wish me luck! If I get told to go to the office for a pass, I will not be happy! Yes, a few weeks ago I was dropping off money for DD... Got buzzed in the door, was just to open the office door and the teacher rounded the corner and wanted to see my pass! WTH? I laughed and told him that my parents didn't send me in for a note, but he could contact my DD in XYZ's class for my note! He laughed and told me to carry on!

We just went high tech... so we were never buzzed in but ALWAYS had to sign in and have a visitor badge...

I went in today signed in but NO badge needed.. I really like my job assignment and acutally brought work home to do and return on Monday when I go back in. She was amazed by how much work I got done in 1.5 hours and how anal I am to make sure I do everything right!

The kicker to that story PO3.. was you walk in the front door.. it's 15 steps to the office door... so I was going directly from the main door where I had been buzzed in by the office staff and was opening said office door.. I wasn't roaming the hallways!!!! I had taken my 15 steps!!

i know! that's how it is at his school too! they have a mom volunteer that sits right there to make sure you check in and get a pass. the nurses office is right off the main office and you STILL have to check in and get a pass to go around the corner to pick up your sick child.

Well- I would rather have the school checking everyone in rather than letting anyone roam the hallways- it does keep things safer.

SIOH- hope DS is better soon and that it is not anything serious.

I slept in this morning. I've been up for about 10 minutes. After yesterday, I think this means I should skip apartment cleaning today. The second bathroom can wait until tomorrow. Even though it is bigger, it should go faster since we didn't take showers in there. There is a garden tub, but I didn't take many baths. The shower stall in the other is what got me into trouble.

So today, I'll be lazy. I should probably unpack some boxes. I might go out to do some Black Friday recon. The stores near the house have different layouts than the ones near the apartment, so I need to figure out the quickest paths to what I want. I wish the M's ad would just come out though!

Well, TB and I have returned from our scrappy and everything else shopping trip!

We can't reveal the stuff we bought, as some of us have snoopy children on the DIS and others will soon be divorced if their DH finds out about all the stuff in the back of her car!

A great time was had by all and we just enjoyed leftover rice cooker mac and cheese with the crispy bits!
