Then need to buy some navy shirts for DS18 WHO IS FINALLY EMPLOYED AT THE WALMART!

I'm all decked out in spots including a tail and ears and a dog collar. I sure hope somebody else besides me shows up in costume at Michaels today! I thought about making my nose black, but I don't know what I'll be doing today and if it's something sweaty I don't want to end up with black make-up all over my face!

Floor guy is a no show so far... He told DH between 8-9

One of the girls isn't feeling so good... not sure if we are still going for lunch She is going to call the one who had the baby and see if she is OK with her being a little under the weather. The baby isn't coming, so it's just exposure of the little mama that she is worried about...

Today I have to get the cookbook shelf in the kitchen organized and get rid of any that I'll never be using.

Our school doesn't allow the kids to dress up, but it's drug awareness week and today's "favorite sports team" day so they all have jerseys on.

Well, I showed up at work today dressed as a dalmation puppy. I was scheduled to come in before the store opened so I had to wait outside until the manager came to open the door for me. He saw me though the glass and busted out laughing! Then, he sang "How Much is that Doggy in the Window" to me through the door. There was only me and one other employee who dressed up (she was a princess). Quite a few customers enjoyed my costume, especially the tail. The tail took it rough, though, because each time I got in my car I shut it in the door! I'm not used to having a tail! At least I noticed it and didn't drive around with part of a dalmation tail hanging out the door!

DS and his GF are going to a party tonight. She's putting together their costumes with help from her Mom. She's going to be a jellyfish and he's going to be Spongebob with a net. Should be really cute.

OMG! That would have been priceless DIT!! It's great to have a boss with a good sense of humor and you being a good sport...

Our kids are NOT allowed to dress up.... but DS10's class didn't even have a fall party..
Although we have birthday party fun all day tomorrow for our newly 17 year old so he can't complain.. he'll be partying all day tomorrow!!

Debbie ~ so sorry the flooring guy didn't come over.. so is he going to be the under-layment for the new floor???? My gosh! How is DH dealing w/ the no show issue... He seems to take a lot and be very understanding but my guess is he is bunching up his big boy pants to show them who is boss soon!!! Hope it gets taken care of quickly!

Sorry about the no show on the floor. I finally have a date for an ac cleanout to take care of the mold- the guy is supposed to be here about 9am on Tuesday. DH will be here so I am leaving his home and cell numbers so he can call if he is not here by 9:30- I don't want to wait until I would be home at 11:30.

DH called the flooring place, and the guy was called to another job this morning, and he forgot to call us. He finally showed up around 11. They have to come out and take out the bad pieces and do some repairs. It's nothing we did, just "the wood"

I ended up going out with the girls, and we had Cheesecake Factory... yeah, how many points was that? Oh Boy! But tomorrow is a new day....

DIT- Too Funny!! When I was at Mike's, we never had fun like that! That manager wasn't very fun though!

Didn't get to check in today--had painters here today and DS was "fascinated" with them! I was the supervisor to make sure he didn't help too much!

I'm still here! Longest day in the history of the world! Had to work and my boss said "I'm going to try to get you out of here as early as possible..." Yeah, 30 minutes is not early...We're packed, the house is clean, and we leave here at 3:00 am for the bus to Logan. Tomorrow is going to be a long day, but by 3:00 pm, I should have a nice frozen drink in my hand...

Oh! Mickey just called us! I forgot I had scheduled that. Brought a tear to my eye.

Everyone have a wonderful week! I'll be incommunicado after Sunday (Key West).

Jennifer have a wonderful trip.

My costume was HOT HOT and HOTTER but everyone enjoyed it (and the strip show when lunch was over there was no way I could clean in braids past my butt.
