:cheer2: Welcome to October! :cheer2:

This month is the time for soccer season sectionals, about to end our football season in the next month, leaves begin to turn colors, time to break out the sweatshirts and prep for the big holidays! This month also for us is birthday month!!

Prayers and pixiedust: to all in need.

There are lots of things on my list of things to do today. Let's see:

up
make lunches x 3
once over house (did most of it last night during commercials again)
DH off to work
boys up for school (DS17 for mtg)

DS17 to mtg/school/practice/meet us at DS12's game
DS12 to school/game
go pick up photos

cut 12 red capes (add note: "our seniors are "super" heroes!)
decorate root beer cans
attach tags to goodie bags for seniors
cut photos to finish DS17's gift for his senior night
finish DS17's gift
separate photos for senior locker decs
separate photos to include in goodie bags
scrap
add pages to challenge list -- never did that last month so I will add it to this month
set my challenge goal for Oct

start working on replacement pieces for missing swap

I know there is more but if I write any more down, I may start to panic today...
Off to rattle my boys and do some of the small tasks that I can do now..

I hope everyone has a great day!!

Happy 1st day of October! Boy, was it dark when we got up this morning! I don't like that! Yikes!

DS is off to school, we did North American capitals as he ate. Luckily, GeoQuiz is 1st period, so maybe some of annoying, nagging Mom will still be in his head. LOL! Capitals are extra credit, but a word bank cost 7 points. To buy or not to buy, that is the question, so we shall see how it all goes down, take a couple days off and then start South America for November Quiz. Yes, that's right, the fun never ends around here!

Today:
Continued cleaning/decluttering (project up, up & away)
Look for flights & make Disney decision for next year (I am shocked by the prices I am seeing for next year. Not sure if that's me, it really jumped that much or just shock that little guy will need ticket and how much that adds. Maybe I've lost the magic, but I haven't been able to get excited enough to pull the trigger.)
Call cable to work out bill details I think are wrong.
Follow up on cars, service dept never returned my call. Annoying!
Halloween decorations pulled and placed.

Happy Tuesday!

Morning and Happy October!

Traveling starts back up again this month. Leaving on the 10th for Phoenix to see my baby brother and his family. Looking forward to seeing my niece (8) and nephew (4):cool1:

I need to look at the budget and see how far our savings will stretch

Have a great day all :flower3:

Happy Birthday to Jim, Lisa!

Cheryl, stay positive..... it's a shame that the others get paid and they get waivers not to follow the rules the rest of us do..but we have to stay strong...

Getting lots done so far this morning....

Good morning!

Poppins, what part of Phx? October is a great time to visit.

I have to get back into doing my homework. I dropped one class because of the surgery but kept the other and now 4 assignments behind! Ugh!
Todays goals~
Drive somewhere, hopefully post office!
Straighten house
2 homework assignments
and make it through the day with only Tylenol and no pain pills.

Sending everyone good thoughts today!
Rita

PS~ Nan, I cant believe your son is already a SR! Seems like your DD just was!

Yes, Rita.. it has only been 2 years...

PJ is off at college loving every moment... she is an Ambassador and gives tours to families and perspective students once a week and on hospitality weekends.. She does some private tours too for family friends! LOL She is also a mentor for a freshman and so far that freshman and her both have 4.0s!! She loves it there... It happens to be the same school that DS decided to attend once he went on a campus tour and get some one on one time with his sister down there. She totally sold the campus to him!!!

thank you Cheryl and Nan :goodvibes

Cheryl so sorry the shutdown is affecting you and Robert, stay strong

Good morning.

P&pd to those who need.

Was supposed to have court this morning, but rescheduled to tomorrow or Thursday. Apparently they don't like to actually schedule in advance.
Today:
Decorate wine cup orders
Finish etched order
Upload pics for upcoming preorders.
Clip coupons
Make list
Work on dance album, finish titles, cut and journal to print
DD's from bus
DD#1 is making dinner, cauliflower Alfredo.
Hoping to get lots done!,

Thanks Lisa
It is just frustrating! Robert says he doesn't think the shutdown will last more than a few days. He's donating blood and running errands today. I think we might take a drive in the mountains tomorrow, unless he gets to go back to work.

I second this, except for the getting lots done today. I took baby boy to Chuck E Cheese to play games. Apparently Tuesday morning is a GREAT time to visit since we were the only ones there, much less stressful! Positive thoughts sent to both of you ladies!
