i assume you mean Disney Cruise Line (DCL)...we were on both the 3 and 4 day cruises and they were both wonderful....
we highly recommend them both...

we did the 7night western and have only good things to say about it, i'd leap at the chance of a 3 or 4 night, check out the cruise part of this forum for more info.

Hi,
I have done 2 x 3night cruises and 1x 4nights. Next Summer we are booked for a 7 nighter.
I love DCL, the whole experience is fantastic and well worth a go in my opinon!

do you do the cruise before wdw or after?

It is down to personal choice.

I like to go after the parks as I think the cruise is very relaxing and its good to chill after the running around!

Also the 4night cruise is better than the 3 nights. There is so much to do on board and having the extra day at sea gives you a chance to really expereince the ship. Not to mention you can go to Palo (the adult only restaurant) without missing one of the others out!

Feel free to ask any other questions,
:goodvibes

Hi tracyjane

Were booked up for the 4 night on the wonder in April. We are doing 20 nights in a villa then finishing off with the cruise, main aim is to relax  I haven't done a cruise before but what i have read up on, it sounds like we are in for a great time.
We have booked a stateroom with a veranda for DH and me and my 3 kids who are 12,12,14 are in their own inside room a couple of doors down. They seem to be most excited about ordering room service. :rotfl2:

Happy holidays
Marv

Fantastic. We did the 4 night cruise and it was great. Got upgraded to a balcony room when we arrived which was wonderful. The ship is beautiful and like a 5 star hotel with excellent food, entertainment and service. Definatley do it if you have the chance. We did ours in the middle of a 2 week orlando holiday.

Hi
We are booked on the Wonder for the 4 night cruise for November. I PM'D Sue (Florida Sun) and she gave me loads of helpful information.
We are staying in Orlando for 3 days, then doing the cruise and then heading down to Boca Raton for 7 days to chill out.

hi again
is there lot's of entertainment for the kids (boy will be 9)(girl will be 16) must keep them occupied ;) And what do you do with the kids when you go to the adult resturant? what sort of cabin is best to go for ie. is there alot of differance between the cheaper to the most expencive?

Hi,

Sorry can't comment on the kids activities, but regarding cabin we have always stayed in the cheaper inside staterooms. The reason being I get motion sick and not seeing the sea helps. Also Dh and myself have found we spend very little time in the room (theres so much to do) and only use it for getting changed in and sleeping.

:flower:

what sort of entertainment do you get onboard?what did you find yourself doing to keep you occupied of relaxed lol,

sorry to bother you with all the ???????'s

Going to the Spa, using rainforest room, sunbathing, wine tasting, excursions, swimming, shows, cinema, bingo, dancing, eating, eating and more eating :goodvibes

Castaway Cay is Disneys own private island, each cruise whether it be 3, 4 or 7 nights ends with a trip there. It has wonderful beaches, BBQ's and activities

I wish it was July and i'd be there !

Hi & happy new year!!!
We have done the 4 & 7 night cruise You will love it, the kids clubs are great you get pagers for the younger child so no need to worry, so much piece of mind, they also do a teen club with loads of activities too.
Use this site to get loads of tips & allears.com & mousesavers too.
whatever cabin you have chosen you wont be dissapointed, but you can ask to upgrade at check in at the port & it is cheaper than Ta or brochure prices.
Be sure to get there early though about 10am - 10.30am is good, they usually let you board about 12pm, the sooner your on board the sooner you are getting your moneys worth!!! :sunny:

We have just returned from the 7 day Eastern cruise.
We had two interconnecting staterooms with navigators verandahs.
The childrens clubs were fantastic, we have twin girls aged 4 and two boys 8 and 11.
We gave our 11 year old freedom of checking in and out himself.
The food was excellent except due to the twins being asleep every day at 5pm we did not manage eating in the restaurants. There are plenty of other places to eat and we did have some of our restaurant meals as room service.
We would definately do another cruise but only 7 days, 3 and 4 days just are not long enough!

Hi Tracy

As lots of others posters on here have already said:

The Disney Cruise line is fantastic, The entertainment is out of this world with nightly shows for all the family. There are Kids clubs for all ages. My daughter was 14 when we went, and she just loved the teen club and made many friends. We had a varandah room on Deck 6 which was wonderful. Castaway Cay, Disneys own private island is superb, and very relaxing, you can also do loads of activitys there such as snorkling, bike riding, para-gliding etc. There are 3 main resturants that you visit on a rotating basis each night. The food is excellent. Your children can stay at the kids clubs if you like whilst you are in the adult resturant. There is a cinema which plays recent releases. I believe they have recently added a large screen to Deck 10 to watch movies in the open air.

We did 3 days at the park, then a 4 day cruise, followed by another 7 days at the park.

I really hope to book another cruise again, I would love to try a 7 day cruise, but a 3 or 4 day one is great to see if you like it, and I bet you will :goodvibes

Hope this helps and let us know what you decide to do, Good Luck :)

you should go to the disboard cruise line forum...there is lots and lots of information there...

as for your kids entertainment question - my son was 15 on our first cruise and 17 on our second.....he LOVED the cruise....he had such a fantastic time.....
it's funny because before the first cruise he wasn't at all expecting to have a good time and didn't think he would spend any time in the teen club....in the end, except for eating with us and going to the one main show each night with us, he spent all of his time with the teen club...he loved it....and loved the teen club counselors (he kept quoting them for months afterwards)..

on our second cruise, when he was 17, he loved it just as much...maybe even more....our second cruise was the 4 day and i think there were quite a lot of teens on that one (seemed to be a lot more than on the 3 day)....and they all seemed to have a wonderful time...
it was so cute on the last morning at breakfast and when we were heading to our car....every kid he saw they all shook hands or hugged....it was terribly sweet how they had all gotten to know and like each other in the course of a few days....they really had a great time...

by the way, the teen club is for kids up to (and including) age 17....although if you're 18, they'll also give you the option of joining into the teen activities if you want to (also 18 and up can go to the adult activities if they want)....
