The Croc Sticker came off!!!

I just bought my Crocs from Bass Pro last week. If you notice, it has the Crocs emblem on the rivets that hold the strap onto the shoe. Well I wore them to a seminar today, so lots of leg crossing and foot crossing, and as I was walking to the bathroom, I noticed a Croc sticker on my foot. It had come off the rivet. Not only that, it was the last sticker. Apparently, the other 3 had already come off, but I didn't notice. So, now the only way to identify my legitimate Crocs is the indentation Croc on the bottom of the shoe. I thought it was the rivet, not just a sticker. Weird. And cheap. But, they are still pretty comfortable. Anyone else's sticker come off?

My stickers came off too!! But, my feet craved these shoes when I tried to wear tennies at dis.....always went back to my crocs......although, my arch is killing me...but I think it would have been worse without them. I am so glad the weekend is here so that I can wear them again!

My back strap says Crocs, and I flip it over so its on the top front...mine were made in China...

Let's put it this way-the first day I had them, I noticed a Croc sticker on my living room floor. I looked at my shoes and there weren't any there. I never knew until just now that I had started with four!

My rivet is my crocs emblem. I have just one on each foot that says "crocs" I just tried to peel it off and its not a sticker. How odd.

My crocs only came with 2--on the outside of the shoe. One was still in the box when I took the shoe out. Now on some of my newer pairs the stickers are still on.

It doesn't matter if they say crocs or not--people are still stopping me and asking if those are the shoes they'ver heard about and if they are really that comfortable. YES, I always say and when then slip their foot into mine they are sold!

We should get a referral discount or something!!

When my daughter bought hers the gal at the store said the stickers were always comming off, sure enough the ones she bought did not have any on them, the sales clerk gave her a couple and said go home a super glue them on.
you would think that they would want a more permanant 'sticker' on the shoe as a form of advertising.

Daughter loves them, too wide for my feet!

Can you please tell me where you ordered your crocs from? I ordered mine right from their website a month or so back...no problem. DD wants a pair of Nile in blue....no way.......only red...she said NOPE no red...anyone??? Where else can i order on line?? We live in upstate NY and have not seen them anywhere. I would love to get them for her before we go to WDW in July....thanks in advance.

I ordered my black Niles from sahalie.com on 4/8/05 and they were in stock and I've already received them. Someone else checked the site today and some sizes/colors are on backorder. Maybe they will have the size/color you want in stock. Good luck!

I ordered some black Nile sandals a week ago from No Fear Gear and I called them today since they hadn't shipped and they told me they were completelhy out and waiting for Crocs to send them more shoes. He said the reason for the delay was that Crocs is switching from the S, M, L, etc. shoes to actual shoe sizes and they are adding many more colors in the Nile style. So probably many places have sold out of the Niles they have on hand and they waiting on shipments of the new shoes to come in....at least according to this vendor.

I'm leaving in less than 2 weeks and I REALLY want my sandals!

selket, i too ordered from no fear, i received half of my order and was told they were expecting more by the end of this week. Well, lo and behold, i just checked my email, and there is a shipping notice. i leave in 16 days, so i was worried too. Hopefully, yours will come soon!

BTW, we have 2 pairs in this house, and both have a raised logo, not a sticker. They were made in China. I know some here (dis) have some that were made in Canada...very weird!

DD broke the rivet in her 1st pair but I emailed the website and they replied saying they are sending new rivets and stickers at no cost. Haven't seen them yet but that is pretty great service if it comes through.

As for the stickers, about half the pairs hanging in the shoe store had either loose of missing stickers.

BTW - I was able to patch them temporarily with the rivet from our extra magic hours armband (though it took some effort to get one loose without breaking it).

My beach ones were made in Canada.

Heh - No Fear told me yesterday they might get more in today (Friday) and I called today and they hadn't - he said hopefully sometime next week. He also changed my order to reflect my shoe size rather than the "medium" I'd ordered.

I just ordered some black ones from Sahalie and I'll call No Fear on Monday and try to change my order to white ones. If I can't then I guess I'll return them. I'm determined to get those shoes before the end of April darn it!

You may try zappos.com. I got mine from there, and since I was a first time customer, I got free shipping. I haven't had any problems with stickers coming off, and I wear mine all the time.

My dd's Crocs were made in Canada and her stickers are still on. I think they are much more permanent than mine are. My Crocs were made in China and the stickers were off within 2 days.

After all my complaining about not getting my Nile shoes I forgot to add that whatever had been on my pink beach ones made in Canada were off by the time I bought them - in fact none of the pink ones they had in the store had the Crocs label on the sides. My white ones do though - it is made of plastic. Both the white and pink ones were made in Canada.

I"d order from Zappos but last time I checked they didn't carry the Nile style! They say on their website that a bunch of new styles are coming in April but so far I haven't seen them there yet.

Hmmm I ordered a pair of white Nile ones from CROCS they are made in CAnada and have the riviot with the logo inprinted....I just ordered 2 more pairs, one Nile in Blue in XS for DD and one pair in black for me from Sahalie and they sent an email saying they were both in. I hope I dont get one saying they are now on back order or something.

Are Crocs made out of plastic? They look very uncomfortable to me.
