We went on Sunday to see it and even not bloomed it is an interesting plant--definitely very "Little Shop of Horrors." I'm watching the webcam and hope to be able to see it after it blooms, but I'm going to let enough time pass for the smell to fade!

The guy who put his hands on it might be the Horticulturist. He seems to be around a lot.

They had one at UConn last year. I don't think it blooma every year. I wonder if there is a "scratch and sniff" on the video?

We had one here locally in NH. It bloomed in 2006 and again in 2009.

The UNC Charlotte one bloomed a couple weeks ago while we were on vacation, so I missed the news stories. The first time it bloomed, a few thousand people went to see (smell?) it. Dawn's right -- they don't bloom every year.
