Your Cozumel Jeep Adventure begins with a comfortable drive through town and then across the island to Cozumel's undeveloped and breathtaking eastern coast. Once here we will take a moment to stop at the famous Mescalito's Beach Bar, where you can enjoy a tropical beverage.

Next we explore "El Cedral", Cozumel's oldest settlement, where you will learn about the Mayan History, and enjoy some local shopping as well. This is a unique part of Cozumel and a fun little stop along the tour.

DD, SIL and their 3 kids did this on our 3/11/06 Magic Cruise. Jeeps broke down and they got a full refund.

We book an independent and it was great. We went to the north east side of the island and saw real old mayan ruins, some old mayan guy who lived in a hut-- no tourist stuff and we drove the jeep and they brought lunch for us on the beach and took us out snorkling around the reefs. It was a great outing...I can't remember the name of the company-it was actually some american family that lived there and so they spoke english and knew what was going on. Anyways... getting away from the "town" area is always good. Too many vendors just waiting for cruise people to get off the ship.

I know you mentioned that you don't remember the company name, but by chance do you remember the cost? Just curious to caompare prices of other companies vs. booking directly with DCL.
