Where is it located at?

I was looking at the menu and they serve cocktails!! yippee!

Right by Ariel's Grotto. It's on the Pier on your way to Screamin/TSMM.

Mmmmm Cove Bar. Definitely worth it. Go into Ariels Grotto at Paradise Pier. As you walk in the front door, there will be a door on your left beside the elevator that goes out onto a patio. The Patio is the Cove Bar. But as you enter Ariels Grotto dont go down the stairs infront of you. That takes you into Ariels Grotto restaurant. :thumbsup2

Your welcome. I recommend this place to anyone especially for the adults who like to wind down in a fun atmosphere with an adult beverage. If you see the lobster natcho's and enjoy seafood then I recommend them highly. If not then they can substitute the lobster for chicken or beef. That's good too. Their drinks are excellent. So enjoy! :thumbsup2

I think I will have to stop in and try this place out on our visit next month.
Sounds good.

I was checking out the allears menu, and the drink prices look pretty good...are they pretty generous with their alcohol would you say?:dancer:

Well they arnt skimpy on their drinks. The drinks themselves are a decent size. Ive been to a few pubs that give less then what the cove bar does. So id say its not bad.

Compared to my town, the pours are skimpy. However, I despise drinking mixed drinks in my town, so I like 'em at Disney. :)

If you're coming around from CA Screamin', by the way, and you see people in the Cove Bar (it isn't always open, so be sure you see that it's set up with CMs), there's an exit gate that swings, and you can pop in there through the gate.

Kids are allowed, but not right up at the *bar*. Plenty of tables for those with kidlets. And if you have a kidlet in a stroller, don't go in or out via that gate, as there's a step. For that, go in like you're going to Ariel's and just keep on going!

We like the artichoke dip which comes with tortilla chips...a combo I wouldn't have thought of, but it seems to work.

And try the Pina Colava...like a Colada, but with raspberry that's red like lava.

DBF and I are so going to the Cove Bar when we are there for my bday weekend. :) I'm sure it will be open so while the girls are riding Screamin' we are going to have a drink and get some munchies, probably the lobster nachos but maybe the artichoke dip as that is a BIG fave for DBF and myself. :) We are so looking forward to it, it will be our first adult beverages in DCA!!!! We've never even had a glass of wine......speaking of, we are also going to WCT and I'm having something that was suggested there, can't remember what it's called but it's a sparkling type of wine or something like that. :)

You will like the Cove Bar! :thumbsup2

DBF and I like going and relaxing there for a bit each trip. The service is kind of spotty (I usually have to ask multiple times for the bill - and it's the same guy everytime!), but it's a great location in the park. I usually just a glass of wine and DBF gets a beer. As I recall, they offer more kinds of beer than just Karl Strauss. Cocktails look delicious though.

And, as everyone has said, LOBSTER NACHOS!! They're huge though, so go hungry!

I wish I would have known about this place. We just got back last week from DL/DCA. Oh well... next time DH and I are totally going there. Thanks!
