The countdown to POP Century - September 2011!!!!

I can't believe I only have 12 days left!

Early check in on Sunday! OMG!!! I have kept this a surprise from my DD's since March, which has been very hard. This morning my oldest DD asked where my youngest DD got her Stitch stuffed animal. I reminded her about the time when she was 4 when we went to WDW and she says, well can we get some more the next time we go? Little does she know that will be real soon!!!

2 weeks today until we check into POP!!! We leave the 22nd,taking an overnight flight.I haven't started packing yet, I've been working far too much, BUT I just bought our Halloween party tickets today
Can't wait to finally experience POP and WDW we've been to Disneyland quite a few time, but this will be our first trip to WDW! SOOO excited!!

Just read on another thread that there have been no lovebug sightings this month so far. Can't wait until we are home again at POP!

Two weeks today!!! AAAAHHH!! In two weeks from right now I will be landing in Toronto airport for a long wait during which I will pace a lot.

Two weeks today!!! AAAAHHH!! In two weeks from right now I will be landing in Toronto airport for a long wait during which I will pace a lot.

We leave on the 19th and have a 4 hour wait in TO. We spend some of our time in an airport restaurant and the duty free shop.

Ummm Michelle....I know I don't get on here very often, but did you forget that I also arrive on the 24th? OK I hope everyone that has gone to the most magical place on earth has enjoyed themselves and will post pictures..I don't post often, but I do try to find a free moment to take a peak once in awhile. I can't believe it's almost time for us to go and that we have kept it a surprise from the kids I really need this vacation..my oldest son joined the Army Reserves and left for Boot Camp and AIT Training 2 weeks ago..I miss him and worry about him so I know this much needed vacation will help. Can't wait to Party at Pop

planning on putting a lime (alien) green mickey in our "canadian" themed window. anyone else decorating their windows/doors at POP?

We'll be gone before the 24th crew gets here, but we are decorating with a Halloween theme. I hit the dollar tree and picked up a door cover that resembles a castle wall with pumpkins on the ground in front with a cool gargoyle like door knocker. In the window will be a magenta paper chandelier that will have us as ghosts with mickey ears flying around the top and princesses in costume window clings dancing below. Cost for project less than 5 bucks! LOVE that dollar tree!

ps. we are using magnets and suction hooks to hang everything - haven't decided on lights or not yet.

I hope the crowds are super low. I have never been in September, but we did go the end of October beginning of November once and it was dead. Like I took my picture in front of the castle by myself.

OK..so my friends say I don't get on here enough. Do they know how busy I am goodness relax..I am excited to be going on this vacation too and can't wait to get out of Syracuse. Do you know how hard it is to pack a picky 12 year old DD when she thinks she is going to the "beach" ? She want to bring a bikini and a towel I keep packing her suitcase with cute things (we have free dining too ) and she unpacks and puts in another bathing suit

Let her pack whatever...and you put the stuff she is going to wear in your suitcase.

I am laughing hysterically,ok not at you just the vision of Taylor doing that. I hope she is happy with mouse instead of the beach

I know your busy tending your zoo.lol. You should feel on vacation now with everyone in school. I would just pack a separate brown bag of stuff you want and load it the night before when she don't have time to pack anymore. I can't wait,we have a real sunrise coffee date!!! we have to get up early one morning and just sit by the pool with our coffee enjoying the peace at Pop!!!!!
