Wow you'll have the best time it's amazing :-D these last 5 weeks will fly by, what are your plans while your there?

We are going for 2 weeks, staying at Port Orleans Riverside.
We are "planning" on visiting Magic kingdom, Animal kingdom, Epcot, Disney studios, Universal and Island of Adventures, Busch gardens and Seaworld.
I have Written a day to day plan but as we are traveling with 3 children ( aged 7,11 and 14 ) im trying not to be too rigid with it just in case.

You'll have the best time sea world is amazing and more of a relaxed day because of the amount of shows there are to see you spend most of the day sitting a watching things rather than on your feet! Disney is just amazing your children will love it!! I bet you can't wait to see their faces light up when they see the castle! I nearly cried the first time I saw it! I stood there thinking 'I'm finally here' with the biggest grin on my face once you've been once you'll come back wanting to plan the next trip!! It really is the most magical place on earth!!

It's only my opinion and others will not agree, but I would drop a couple of parks from your schedule, that's a lot to fit in, especially for a first trip when you are not familiar with the lie of the land. I only say this from our own experiences because it might save you some money! MK is a three day park for us, Epcot one full day and several evenings, DHS two days and AK a day an a half. I do build in breaks though, they can be toured more quickly. We have found too many parks starts to feel like a chore.

POR is our fav resort and I am sure you will all love it.
You may find with it being your first visit that your plan will go out of the window because you never realised just how HUGE the place is. I do think you should manage all those parks though, maybe not in full, but you should be able to see a lot of them. Personally I think HS and AK are 1 day parks and if you get there for rope drop then you should do them. MK will need a couple of days and evenings and EPCOT (well we tend to be in that park the most) can be done in couple of days or less if you leg it around the world showcase. Seaworld is a one day park but you need to get there early and get a park map and sit down and work out the show timings so that you are not going back and forth over the bridge or around the lake..if you do that you def can do it in one day. Busch Garden is a one day park just due to the fact its a long way away. Universal/IOA two or three days needed for the first time (we do it easily in one day but we do go off peak).

Thats just my opinion and you will def need to factor in breaks, be it in an afternoon then go back to the parks later or do a day and have a day off every so often. Its hard work, its HUGE, its hot and you won't be able to do it all!

We have paid for 14 day park tickets ( so we could get free dining) and have the Orlando flexi tickets so all the parks have already been paid for " in advance" as such. If we don't manage everything in all of them I won't be too disappointed as long as the children have experienced some of the park.

Personally I think you'll be fine, you may miss a couple of rides but not many we managed all the parks that you are doing on our first visit and 2nd visit the first time we didn't even spend full days in the Disney parks and still managed to everything apart from 3 rides in total! But on the plus note if you don't get everything done it gives you an excuse to go back again

We are off for our first time in just under 4 weeks so I know how excited you are . Our kids are 10 and 12. We are also plannng a similar list of parks, although we're not going out to busch gardens. we know we won't get to do everything in every park, but wanted to visit them to see what's what. Also none of us are hugely into roller coasters and big thrill rides, so we probably won't spend much time at HS. Our thinking was to try it all out and then if we can ever manage to go again we will have more of an idea of what park tix to get in the future. I hope you all have a great time

There are only two thrill rides at DHS and as coasters go its very tame. There is much more there than that. I wouldn't write it off, the shows are fun

We're definitely going there. The kids will like the car show and the Indiana jones one. And we will get there early so they can ride Toy Story. I just can't see us wanting to go back multiple times. We are planning on going for most of a day and then taking a break by getting the boat to Epcot for the afternoon / evening. Then we will go to HS on another evening to see Fantasmic, at least that is the plan!

When are ur dates guys. This will be my 12th visit and still mot done everything. Just enjoy it absorb things. Dont rush round and miss things. I have done that in past and regretted it. Also make sure u hv a coulple of half days just chilling by the pool. Kids love that. Great kids hospitality houses as well

Thanks. We've got maps & touring plans & we've got about three days penciled for water parks / pool days, so hope we'll be OK. We've also got a few evenings with nothing planned so we can do pool time and / or early nights can't wait!

We're going 28 march to 11 April to fit in with the kids Easter holidays, which is a bit scary as I know it will be busy, but we plan to get up and hit the parks early, so hope w'll be OK. My brother went last Easter and they had a good time so the plan is up early, hit the parks and then back to the pool in the afternoon then out again on some evenings. Hope you have a great time too

If you get a spare evening or early morning take a nice boat ride from the hotel to the Disney village marketplace, we love it there, especially the huge Christmas shop, lovely place to have a wander, just try to avoid weekends, it can get a bit hectic!
