The could we?? should we?? PTR **12/9 **Home from WDW**

It won't be the "same ole vacation" you will be two adults free to ride what you want, go where you want, do what you want. You will get to focus on each other and how fun Disney can be with adults only. AND you will be celebrating your birthday :yay:.

I know you are right, but it totally doesn't feel that way right now... We are thinking about getting rid of some ADR's and trying new ones... We are also thinking that we did daily TS meals more for the kids in the heat of September, but we like the CS meals, so we may even decide to get rid of the dining plan and pay OOP for meals... Still do a few TS meals, but not nearly as many as we have planned right now... We actually like to share CS meals too... :confused3

I wouldn't mind just doing the quick service plan, but there is no way of talking Bill into that, he says he likes taking a part of our day to just unwind and spend time talking with one another and letting someone else handle the food to give me a break :goodvibes.

I was kidding about having to stay at Pop because of us, if you two feel the need to change anything go for it.

We love staying at Pop... And with the rooms being redone, we are excited to see it...

I totally understand what you are saying here Toni!!! I like do the sit down meals, but not everyday! Before we started doing the DDP we only did like 3-4 TS meals during a trip and the rest CS. If free QSD is offered, I'm not sure that we will upgrade and pay the difference for the reg DDP. Just we'll cross that bridge when we get there. :goodvibes

I am suffering for resort-what-to-change too!!! But I am so very excited for the redone rooms!!! And plus you'll be there! :woohoo:

Terry and I talked about the same thing, just keeping the QSDP if it is offered and not upgrading... I dunno, like you said, cross that bridge when we get there...

I am kinda nervous about the Fantasyland Expansion and closing of Toontown happening... I wonder what it will be like... I kinda wish that Toontown was still there so i could get one last look at Mickey and Minnie's houses... :guilty:

But at the same time, I am excited to see the finished product in 2012/2013...

I know, I been checking All Ears for updates on the expansion and it looks likte they still do not have an definite dates for it to start! I too would like to get one more glimpse of Mickey and Minnie houses! Guess we shall see soon enough!

I have been watching the thread on the Theme Parks board and I guess Toontown is closing in the fall... So to me would mean that is will be closed by the time we get there...

I wonder if that includes Barnstormer... :confused3

I am sad to see Mickey and Minnie's houses go, but I am excited to see the expansion after it is done. We are thinking about bringing Josh, Abbey, and the kids back to Disney after it is all completed :yay:

I so wish Tailor was going to be just a tad younger when it was finished... She will be 10, and I am afraid she will not be as into it as she is now... :guilty:

I am worried about that with Hannah too, she will be 9 by then. Let's just hope the magic and the new stuff will be interesting to them. :goodvibes

Great idea!! How are you today?

I am doing pretty good!!! I am watching The Office, starting with the pilot episode... I love this show!!!

I bought Terry's birthday today and have been messing with him about it... He will never guess it and will LOVE it!!! This is so much fun!!! Of course he will probably get it and not have to wait until his birthday...

Okay, so here are our tentative plans for which park on which day.... These of course have been penciled in pretty early since we do not have park hours or Mike's least crowded park days, I just kinda went off of years prior...

Nov. 28th Arrival Day... Watch fireworks from Poly Beach... No park
Nov. 29th... Epcot
Nov. 30th... Magic Kingdom
Dec. 1st My Birthday... Epcot
Dec. 2nd... Hollywood Studios
Dec. 3rd... Animal Kingdom
Dec. 4th... Epcot
Dec. 5th... Magic Kingdom
Dec. 6th... Hollywood Studios
Dec. 7th Departure Day... Animal Kingdom

We do not have to leave for the airport until 3pm, so we are planning on hitting AK from opening to like 1 or so... If we do have the car, then we will have all our of stuff with us and can stay longer and leave straight from the park... If we decide to ditch the car then we will have to be back at Pop by 2:30 to make sure we catch ME at 3ish...

Looks good!

I hope to have some news soon about an upcoming trip!!!:rolleyes1

Oh my goodness Rosie, does this mean you might be in WDW in December? :yay: Don't make us wait too long please.

:rolleyes1 Never seen one episode of The Office, I need to get on that don't I?

Ohhh I bet it is a great present. When is his birthday? I can't mess with Bill about his presents, he gets it out of me every time. This year he is getting December plane tickets :rotfl:, just kidding. Probably baseball tickets and other stuff not sure. He might come up with something electronic he wants too.

I got the package in the mail yesterday too. Thanks again.

WHOA!!! Wait a freakin' minute!!! I'm turning 30?!?!?!?! :eek::scared1::confused::sad2::sad1:
:scared::crazy2::sad::faint:

I thought I made this clear... No more birthdays...

It isn't a birthday Toni.....Its the First Anniversary of your 29th!!! My First Anniversary is in October, I told everyone that if they put a 3 or a 0 out I will KILL them!

You don't need to take the kids....really.

IF you get the urge, just make the trip a bit shorter....;)

And remember, I will have my kids! If you get lonely or start to miss yours just call me and I will loan you mine! ;)

Well I decided to go to sleep last night after the 10th time failed!! I tried this morning and it still gives me the same problems... I decided to ditch the online system and just call... I talked to a very friendly vacation planner this morning and got things set...

We are officially booked now!!

We left airfare out for now to see if the price comes down at all... We are planning on flying out on Thanksgiving night, and doing a redeye so we should land in Orlando around 7am on Nov 26th... We will have 11 full days, a 10 day ticket with park hopper, the dining plan, and we leave on Dec 7th... The flight we are looking out flys out at 6:30pm and we arrive in Portland at 11:45pm...

Time to get excited... Now, we get to wait for May 30th... Our day to make dining reservations :cool1:

It was kinda funny on the phone with the lady... When she was going through the passenger information, she verified mine, and then asked for the next guest... I told them Toni... I verified her information... Then she assumed the kids were going, so she asked me to verify Tailor's name... I told her that we are going this year and experiencing Disney, Adult style without the kids... At first she sounded a little shocked, but then laughed and said that it will be a great vacation... :thumbsup2

This whole trip seems to be coming together really nice... I can't wait!

I can't wait to do an alone trip! Our 10 year is 2011 and we are planning a trip for then. I have NO PROBLEMS ditching my kids! I need a break!

P.S. Im just getting started here, on page 8 and I've already almost pee'd my pants!
