So I have heard about something called the cookie boat at the blue bayou>

What is it?

Does anyone have a picture of it?

Cookie Boat!!!

It's a soft chocolate chip cookie shaped like a boat, topped with icecream, chocolate sauce & caramel sauce, and decorated with a gumpaste sail.

Does someone mind telling me how much it cost? I'm trying to decide what to do for my DD 7th b-day instead of a cake. Thanks

Can you imagine the fat and sugar content on that marvelous looking thing?:scared1:

That looks wonderful!

Spacemermaid....that picture is divine.:thumbsup2

I haven't even eaten breakfast yet and I could dive right into that!

It is worth every penny! And it is huge, you can easily share it with 1 or 2 people!

Yum!

Oh it is delicious!!!!!! We like to share it between the 4 of us. Soooooooo good!!!!

OMGawd.....I MUST have that! ::yes:: Just for the edible sail!! lol
Not to mention that sounds absolutly delish, my kind of dessert! Thanks for that info!

Well the sail isn't all that great, it's very hard and doesn't taste good. I really don't recommend eating it.....just the rest of the yummy yum yum dessert. :)

I would love to get my hands on nutritional facts... except, then I probably would be totally repulsed to eat it. I want to eat in the BB. Do you hear the echo of "Dead men tell no tales.." The whole time you eat there? Is it hard to get seats by the water? I would LOVE this.

Thanks, but I can't take credit for it...found it in a Google search a few months ago & had it stored in my Photobucket. I left my camera in my hotel room the day I got Cookie Boat :sad2:

This, exactly- the sail is made of gumpaste, and while, techinically, it *is* edible, it's rock hard and would taste about the same as a stale stick of gum. It's pretty, though!

No, you don't hear the talking skull; the dining area is right next to the entry/houseboat scene. If you make a PS, you'll need to request a waterfront table. And be there about 15 minutes before you're scheduled; you'll probably have to wait longer, but it is so worth it!

I meant to keep it....LOL
Yes I am weird, but I love Pirates so much, I collect anything related and I would be the one to try and preserve that thing. [no not really but that is where I was going with this]

No...that would just spoil the whole magic and fun of the dessert, no one ever wants to know the nutritional facts on beautiful creations like that! lol

I am a health freak!!! and I am a counting calories monster, but when I am on vacation, I splurge once or twice and never worry about the nutritional facts. And if it's something that wonderful and pirate themed, i'm definitely getting it!

We were there 2 weeks ago and the talking skull/smoke screen is not at the entrance anymore (at least not that whole week).

The cookie boat is GOOD and there is plenty, we shared it between the 4 of us.

My son was so excited to eat the sail. He thought it was white chocolate. We let him have it and watched for his expression knowing it was NOT white chocolate. He said it didn't taste like anything :lmao:

LOL :rotfl:

I wouldn't think you could hear the skull that says "Dead Man Tell No Tales" from BB, because that part is well into the ride. I would love to have a seat by the water, and wave to the loverly guests riding the ride. :lmao:

No you can't hear the echo at all, just the boats splashing around, people yelling "throw me a roll" and the bayou sounds. LOL

We tried to keep 2 of them, they both broke so we gave up. :( Now we just eat the cookie boat and that's it.

smoke screen?? Am I confused? I don't remember a smoke screen. I hope the skull is back, I love that part!!!
