Hello everyone! Former Democrat (now a Libertarian) and proud PUMA member here!!
I started out this election voting for Clinton in the primary, although now living in Florida, my vote didn't count for much anyway. When she dropped out (forced out in my opinion), I thought about voting for Bob Barr, the Libertarian candidate but my concerns about Obama grew stronger and stronger. I decided to back McCain, if for no other reason that to stop Obama. The more I learned about McCain though, I began to respect him and I feel he is a very honorable person. Now that he has Sarah Palin by his side, I will enthusiastically support both of them.
I don't agree with them on all issues, and I'm far more conservative on fiscal issues than on social ones but all in all, I think he would make a great president.
My husband & I run a political blog and you're welcome to stop by and say hello if you'd like. The link is Left And Right Politics.
It's ironic because I think this country is ready for a black president, but sadly, that person is not Obama.

It seems (haven't seen it personally) that there is documentation that Obama was raised as a Muslim. Okay fine. So why not just say, "I was raised Muslim, but later converted to Christianity." What's the problem? It all just seems very strange to me, the way he is going at the issue.

[/QUOTE]Doesn't that count as a "Present"?
