Ugghh!! I hate being an Eeyore. More bad news. The DOW is down 14% since the election. The congress is deciding healthcare reform should go much further than bo originally stated. They want National Healthcare...just like Hillary. Can I say...told you so?

Exactly what is this 'civilian' security force going to do? This just stinks to high heaven folks. There was a woman talking about it on Bill Bennett this morning, she grew up under Fidel Castro and said it sounds EXACTLY like living under Castro was. She is very scared for our country now (and so am I).

Betcha a lot of people who voted for BO because they were sick of Bush are now having buyer's remorse. Me -- the pit in my stomach keeps growing. Pass the koolaid - I don't think I can make it through what he is about to do to America without it. OY VEY!

Just got back from DS's 9 mo appointment. He's in perfect health...29 inches high, 21 lbs 9 o, no anemia, everything's good to go.

It reminds me of one of the OS on another thread. Someone saw t-shirts with a Mickey head made out of Obama Logos and most OS thought that it was okay to use a registered trademark since no one was harmed by it.

None of this surprised me but I was surprised by the OS that said it was okay since they liked Obama so much more than Mickey. On a Disney fan board you are dissing Mickey for Obama? Isn't that kind of sacrilegious around here?

They would diss G_d for their god.

Emanuel thinks that this type of mandatory service will help us understand what it is to be an American.

Emanuel didn't serve so I guess that explains why he doesn't know what it is to be an American. Hmmm neither did the placeholder.

I am shocked and yet so very delighted that my kids have taken such an interest in Politics and it all started with something that has a direct effect on THEM.

They learned a valuable lesson that you can't be complacent or it might come back to haunt you..

I also talked to my Dsis in Canada. Her DH is in the Military in Ottawa, Canada working in the intelligence dept. and she told me that Canada, especially the Gov't is not as thrilled with the choice of Obama as you might think. Mind you this IS a conservative gov't but they are the U.S.'s closest ally.

I saw one of these shirts - Obama with Mickey ears - last weekend at Disneyland. Ruined my "about to get on Peter Pans Ride" High. Really had to fight down the revulsion (is that a word?) or maybe it was bile??

OK I really wanted to run over there and rip the shirt off and pummel the guy but hey I was in Fantasyland and kids were present and to be truthful the thought of this particular fellow with his shirt off kinda repulsed me. Then some Disney Magic washed over me and I realized he too is allowed his fantasies.

Off to soccer team pizza party!! Behave.

Because it forces their agenda. Which is all about "feelgoodism" - so we should sit back and enjoy the communist ride because we'll all be better off for it. And that far outweighs the loss of freedom.

Personally, I have never read a P J O'Rourke article with such a negative tone, BUT he makes a compelling wake-up call for us conservatives.

that is one super long loop from wilderness lodge, but SO GOOD!!!!!! i'm in love with the tower of terror area loop and all the dreams parade tracks. and a bunch of other stuff. i love some of the old commercials (donald duck food, date night at disneyland from the late 50s early 60s), and of walt's outtakes.

I was posting pure crap just so I could earn enough for full area loops of Main Street USA. Hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

Just popping in for a moment but thought I would update:

JACOB IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm exhausted. I only got about an hour of sleep last night at the hospital so I'm gonna go nap while he's asleep...only 1 1/2 hours till I gotta go feed him again.

I've been getting in all the snuggling that I missed the first 5 weeks of his life today. He's barely been out of my arms since yesterday

Oh--just thought I would add that I just love Sarah Palin even more after wathching her interviews on Greta's show Mon and Tues. I'm envious that she can manage 5 kids, being governor...and there were no dirty dishes in her sink...heck, her whole kitchen was spotless. Totally not fair, but I love her anyway.
