I was watching a video on youtube and the guy mentions that there are free washer and dryers in the commons, so make friends with those who live there.

Is the commons vista or chatman? How much are washer/dryers in the other apartments and where are they located?

The Commons is a seperate Apartment Complex, which houses participants in the various Disney International Programs. This includes: many of the Cultural Representative Cast Members employed at Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge; Participants on both the Summer Work Experience and J-1 Academic Exchange Experience International College Programs; and Participants on the Australia/New Zealand Work Experience Program.

Each Apartment in The Commons does indeed have it's own Washing Machine and Drying Machine.

There are shared laundry rooms in each of the other Apartment Complexes located near to all Apartments. An average load of clothes is about $2-$3.

At Vista, there is a laundry room in each building. And at Chatham/Patterson, there are 4-5 laundry rooms scattered around the complex. The machines require a card to work. The card costs $5 to buy (leaving $3 on it), and it costs $1 to wash and $1 to dry.

Commons is a seperate complex near chatham and patterson. It houses International cultural Reps who work in the country pavilions at epcot and animal kingdom, most new cultural reps who arrive are actually placed in vista, chatham or patterson and then transfered to commons, when there is a space for them. CP's and ICP's are not housed in there.
