Welcome to my trip report. After reading countless FANTASTIC trip reports from amazing novelists here on the DIS, I am going to attempt to make this entertaining, honest and somewhat lighthearted. With that in mind....on with the show. First, the cast.

Me..thelionqueen..36yo mother of boys..Disney fanatic forever, spoiled with DL trips every year since birth (perk of a father who worked for Western Airlines..remember them?) Worships Haunted Mansion & Cheshire Cat also acts like a toddler from time to time..OK, most of the time.

DH...Dole Whip King..46..yes 10 year age difference, but since we both act like 1st graders it's no big deal. Began being tolerant of my obsession with Disney, now is a full fledged member of the DAS (Disney addict Society). Also, hopelessly addicted to Dole Whips popcorn::

DS8...purest soul I've ever seen. Patient, understanding, loving and caring beyond his years. LOVES babies and would give anything he had to anyone who would ask. Huge Mickey Mouse fan, but bigger fan of Walt Disney. Has already read every book on Imagineering and is determined to be an Imagineer as a career. Thank goodness I had him first :sunny:

DS4...Heck on wheels! Completely different from his patient brother, this one was born to push the limits of everything! Constantly into something, getting into trouble, and enjoys Disney a little while on a rampage to get to where he's going. Just to give you an idea, he pulled his life vest out from underneath the airplane seat and tucked it into his backpack without anyone seeing (including me sitting right next to him..still don't get it). Let's just say, Sibling of Terror! Did I say he's only 4?? :bitelip:

Departure day....May 28th
Since I had been up since 2:00am and unable to sleep, having to leave the house @ 6:00am for our 8:25am departure was heaven! DH had been working 14+ hour days for 5 weeks prior to our trip, and didn't get home until 1:00am the day we left! Thank goodness I am a habitual planner, packer and organizer..he was completely packed and ready to go.

He came home and crashed for a full 45 minutes before waking up to "Honey, are you awake"....Huh? Opening his eyes to see me wide-eyed and bushey tailed right in his face hoping he was awake (but knowing he wasn't..surely I'm not the only one with this tactic...right :confused3 ) He soon figured out he may as well just stay up or I would.

We got everyone ready in record time and were off to the airport. We had an escort from my dad who made the journey truly magical. We checked in with no problem and were off. Non-stop Denver to Orlando..3.5 hours in an enclosed space with Macguyver (Roman..DS4)..what was I thinking. Since on the outbound no life vest taken from his seat, we were doing fine.

Touched down without rain and my blood was pumpin' Got our rental car @ Alamo and the Pixie Dust began. I had a Super rate on a midsize SUV for $198.00 for 12 days. When we picked up our vehicle, we were upgraded (free of charge) to a full size SUV (which, BTW is going to be our next vehicle..Buick Rendezvous..FAB). We easily fit all of our 10 bags in the back and the AC worked great...on we go!

We parked (princess parking too princess: ) @ OKW and went to check-in...no one in line :confused3 AWESOME! Checked in and got our room. The resort was totally full so we were unable to get our requested room..but no biggie. The room was ready and we were off. The location wasn't great but not too bad. 1st floor with golf course view...or should I say obstructed golf course view. We had to look over the 6 AC units to see a portion of the golf course through the trees..oh well. I quickly cleaned & disinfected the room and unpacked. DH thinks I'm such a dork when I clean the room, but it makes me feel better :rolleyes1

Our first nights dinner is always @ Chef Mickey's and we got in the car to go. Valet'd the car @ arrived @ CM 10mins prior to ADR. I saw a huge group of people headed to CM check-in but saw almost on one in line. So I picked up the pace...gave DH the "I'm running to beat all these people in line...watch the kids and meet me up here later" look and took off. There was a lady and 2 gents walking VERY slowly up to the podium and making it very hard to get past. I saw my opportunity and tried to politely rush past them....didn't work. I had to sidestep a little and pretend like I was looking for my party ahead to get past...but got it done. I checked in right away and turned to see DH still about 40 paces behind..geesh..pick up the pace already babe, we're here!

Our dinner was great and actually had a great picture taken by the photog. Our first (and not last) picture purchase of the trip..oh well,it's our first day right. We were pooped and decided to get back to our room and get some rest for our 1st day tomorrow. Magic Kingdom is always the 1st park and Haunted Mansion is always the 1st ride. I will be the 1st one @ rope drop and I will be 1st on Haunted Mansion..so we needed rest.

Will continue in another post. Thanks for keeping with me, it's like I'm doing it all again!

How did you manage THAT? Is your Dad now working for Alamo?

Great start! I cannot wait to read more!

Ok, Ok, so I decided to set the alarm on our first day, shoot me (DH would've liked to). So, bright and early, precisely 6:00am.....BBBUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...will someone turn that stupid thing off? Everyone is up and ready to go. Showers then off to Magic Kingdom for our 8:10am ADR @ Crystal Palace. We drive to the Poly for coffee and latte's @ Kona then off to Magic Kingdom.

On our way over to the park, I heard the announcer on the monorail which just gets me in the whole Disney mood. Don't ask me why, it just does. As we leave the Grand Floridian stop and head for MK my heart is so happy! I see the castle and it finally hits me...we're here! We're actually here..FINALLY! After making Reservations & ADR's in December, this was a long wait...back to the story.

So we bypass the hundreds of people waiting in line to go through the turnstiles and walk right into MK and onto Main Street. I actually took a picture at this point, because I could've counted how many people I saw all the way past the Confectionary. It was HEAVEN to have Main Street practically to ourselves. The morning was slightly overcast and I thoroughly enjoyed slowly strolling down towards CP. The line @ CP was long so we checked in and went walking towards the castle. We were taking pictures and enjoying the scenery when we noticed we had been "strolling" for nearly 20 minutes..YIKES!!
47b6d830b3127cce8a57ea07c10d00000015108AbtGzNy0YuW

Back to CP when I overheard a woman w/2 boys trying to find her reservation. I waited behind her for several minutes listening (OK eavesdropping) to her dilemma. The reservation was nowhere to be found and she didn't have her ressie #. I never carry my #'s either so I understood completely. Also she had 2 boys around the same age as mine, so I was very sympathetic. Then a lightbulb went off over my head. I called DH & the boys over and asked them if they REALLY wanted to eat @ CP..everyone unanimously agreed that it was not the end of the world if we didn't eat, we could eat later. I then asked the woman if she wanted our reservation as we decided we were not very hungry. She looked at me as if I was Ed McMahon from Publishers Clearinghouse. YES she said, I would love it! "Are you sure you're not going to use it" she asked "Yes, I replied, I'm sure" Right then they called our name and she and her family went in...YES!! She got what she wanted and we all felt better...Now..onto the castle!

We went back to the castle and were 1st in line at the rope. I looked behind us and I could see a hoard of people literally running down main street towards us. It was cool but kinda spooky. Anyway, I decided to try to get into Tinkerbell's Treasures and wake up Tink if we could (tried 2X before, no avail). There was this rather buff looking woman nudging up against me and was looking @ Tinkerbell's Treasures like my dog looks at a T-bone. It was on! I gave DH the ol "Stay there, follow me closely and don't lag behind look" and he gave me the mental thumbs up. I decided, today was our day (don't even know if the boys wanted to wake up Tink but that's beside the point).

Then a CM walked towards us...I gave DH the very Stern.."you'd better not jack this up" look and he mentally gave me the "I won't darling" look and we were good. I took Roman DS4 by the hand and said let's go as fast as we can to that store..then I want you to ask the woman if you can wake up Tinkerbell...OOPS!! Did I just spill the beans to my unsuspecting son?? Did I just give him false hope that out of all the kids there that he could be lucky enough to do it...YUP..I did it, my big mouth! He said YEAH!! Since I figured it could only go downhill from now, I decided I had nothing to lose. I told him, "OK, here's the plan. Do not let go of my hand and run as fast as you can" Luckily this child truly is Dash Parr and he agreed. The CM grew closer and I readied the poor innocent child for this encounter. Then, it dropped, Dash (Roman) ran at top speed to Tink's Treasures and was 1st one in. I was close behind, but people tend to stampede adults without a second thought, but let a 4yo go on ahead..SUCKERS!! Anyway I found him and he was already asking a CM about Tinkerbell...That's my boy  . She told him that Tinkerbell was sleeping but he could wake him up...SCORE!!!

All the other maniac parents (and about 5 minutes later..DH...GEESH man, kick it up a notch :p ) saw that they missed their chance and decided to be good sports and watch the encounter. As my son used a sword (don't understand about the sword, but that's what he got) to wake up Tink, I was so surprised and amazed at what was going on that I didn't have the Camera..WHAT?? So I decided just to watch..darn it..SUCKER! He woke up Tink and was thrilled beyond belief. I felt so good and special that day...talk about Pixie Dust eh?

After I sat there gushing for a few moments I remembered, hey, we gotta go...everybody RUN to Dumbo. DH was just catching up when I told him the news. OK, he says, let's go. Off to Dumbo and we got on within just a few minutes...SCORE!!

After Dumbo, I said OK, now it's time to get me back home....The Haunted Mansion for those out there wondering is my 2nd home, and I was on my way!

We hit HM, then Splash Mtn, then Aladdin, then Dole Whip, then Jungle Cruise, and well, you get the picture. Basically took Adventureland by storm and had ended up @ the rose garden by 10:30am. Hit Buzz Lightyear, Astro Orbiter, Carousel of Progress (BTW both boys LOVED this show when I was sure they would hate it...oh well, live and learn...it's a great big beautiful tomorrow..) and Autopia.

We decided to get some lunch @ the Plaza (FANTASTIC) and pin trade our way down main street. I love pin trading and now so does everyone else. Talk about cha-ching. Oh well, it's worth it I guess. So we headed on the Monorail over to the Poly, met up w/BF took a stroll around Poly (pin trading all the way ya' know) and headed back to Old Key West. I got the boys a nap and we headed off to the main pool around 5:00pm. Hung out swimming until about 7:30, got some "Goods to go" and went back to the room. A very successful and wonderful 1st day if I do say so myself.

I will be doing a separate dining review thread after this, so stay tuned!

Also, the rental car rate I got I found codes from some other DIS'ers and booked on Costco.com. If you need any info. just send me a pm.

Day 2 will be coming up shortly...thanks for staying with me!

Day 2....I decided to let everyone sleep in....I know, great mom huh? We all leisurely woke up @ around 7:00am. I was first one up, like always, and thought it would be great to wake everyone up to the perky voice of Stacy (you know, the chick that does the 7 must sees @ WDW on TV). So I cranked up the TV and everyone awoke. To my surprise, everyone loves Stacy, so she was to be our wake up call for the rest of the trip.

Since we are BIG Water Park fans, Typhoon Lagoon must always follow Magic Kingdom. I knew that this year WDW added the EMH to the Water Parks which literally made me jump for joy! So at exactly 7:30, we were off. We arrived @ the park and there were only about 10 people ahead of just...drats! I wanted to be first...oh well, calm down Disney freak, first isn't always the best right?? So after we got our EMH bracelets, they actually let us in about 5 minutes early...SCORE!! We rushed through the park and got the coveted and shaded picnic table area...WAHOOO!! We then rushed off and did all the slides we wanted...Gangplank Falls, all the Falls slides (Mayday, haul..etc). The we got over to Shark Reef (one of my favorite attractions @ WDW). I finally got DH to go, DS8 reluctantly went again, and DS4 didn't want to. So I waited with DS4 while DH and other son finished. They both really liked it..yeah!! Then it was my turn, I got right on with the parent swap option and LOVED it! There was actually a school of yellow fish (don't know what kind) that swam right at me! Too Cool. We then hit Crush 'n Gusher (just me @ DS8) and then lazy river. We were literally the only ones on Lazy river for the 1st 10mins or so, then by the time we got off, about 30mins later, we only saw 5 more people. Finished the day by going to the wave pool, a family favorite, for about 2 hours and we were done! I was amazed, the entire Typhoon Lagoon park DONE in 4.5 hours. Awesome!! We were on our way back to resort and got everyone showered and ready to go by 2:00. Went to Epcot, had lunch @ Sommerset (best franks in the world) franks, brats & streudel in Germany and finished World Showcase by 6:30pm. Had dinner reservations @ LeCellier @ 7:00pm and it worked out perfectly. Our dinner was SUPERB and we were done about 20 mins before Illuminations was to begin. Got a great seat and watched Illuminations, then back to the resort. We were all in bed with snacks, watching WDW today & Stacy until we all fell asleep about 10:30. We did a lot today but were never really feeling rushed (only @ TL when I made everyone double step to the slides which turned out to be completely unnecessary).

Day 3
All awoke to Stacy again this morning and decided to take it slow. We had a breakfast ressie @ Ohana @ 10:00 so there was no rush. We all showered and headed off around 9:30. Got to Ohana and waited only about 5 mins for our table. Our table was AMAZING!! We had always seemed to be seated in the very back (right by where you walk in) and didn't bother us until we got prime seating. Right in the middle of the room facing Magic Kingdom..WOW!
Here is the view from our table
47b6d830b3127cce8a574b0381c100000016108AbtGzNy0YuW

All characters came by quickly and our meal did too.

Our server, Tina Marie was absolutely the best service we've had so far in Disney, and that's saying a lot. We even left her an additional 10% tip above the 18% she gets from the Dining plan, she was worth it. Finished breakfast and we were off! Took the monorail over the the Contemporary for some much needed arcade time. I don't know if the kids like it better than the adults..it's pretty stiff competition. After the Arcade, we were back on the monorail to the Poly to get our car. We decided to head off to Blizzard Beach to finish off the day because it was getting pretty hot about this time (1:00pm) so we went and got our swimsuits and were off yet again. Blizzard Beach is fun, but we like Typhoon Lagoon better. We had great luck again with shorter lines and the kids got to do the line drop (where they whiz down a line and let go at the bottom of the pool) 2X each. We did Teamboat Spring twice too (best ride @ BB for families I think) with little wait. We left the park around 5:30 and headed back to the resort to get cleaned up for dinner. We had a dinner reservation @ Shula's @7:00pm but decided to just do a counter service instead..just not in the mood for steak. So, since we were @ Beach Club, decided to do Beaches & Cream. We had terrible service, and the food was just mediocre. This is not what we normally experience here, but was not impressed. Left without dessert (another big no-no) and strolled around Yacht/Beach club pin trading. Got our car and headed back to our favorite OKW. Got in bed and enjoyed Disney TV until we all fell asleep. Another Great Disney day!!

Will continue a little later......stay posted..

love your trip report! Can't wait to read more. And see more pictures :)

Love your trip report so far. How awesome of you to spread Pixie Dust to the family who could not find their reservation number. :goodvibes Can't wait to read the rest!

Ok, so it's our 4th full day @ the world and we are having a wonderful time. Although we had really crummy neighbors the 1st 2 nights it appeared they had checked out :woohoo: I mean literally they were yelling at the top of their lungs @ 2:00am and the loud "THUMPS" every minute or so were completely ridiculous. After "accidently" slamming my dining table chair against the wall with no results, I had to call the front desk. It seemed to get quieter and I was happy.....but wait...OH NO, it's not over yet folks! About 45 mins later, here we go again but only for a minute or 2. Didn't require another front desk call, and finally off to sleep

.....but on with the story.

So, we wake up and decided to have a rest day. Much to my complete surprise (which NOTHING takes me by surprise) DH had planned to take both boys to the resort pool for the day and let me do whatever I wanted!!!! :woohoo: :yay: :cheer2:  :cool1: I took him up on that offer quicker than he could say no. I was totally excited and completely proud of DH doing something I didn't know about ;)

So I took the car and went to Downtown Disney for shopping...did you think I would do something else :rotfl: I took my pin lanyard and my Disney Dollars and I was off. To make a LONG shopping trip short, basically I picked up a fantastic Villains Framed Pin set and some other stuff and came back to the resort about 3 hours later. DH and DS's were still @ the pool so I strolled down and met up with them. Much to my surprise, DH said they were fine and for me to continue to do whatever I wanted  Did I marry well or what??

Anyway, I headed off to MGM to ride Rockin Roller Coaster & Tower of Terror because no one but me will go on them. I got right in and headed straight for RNR. Got my fastpass and went to TOT. I waited for nearly an hour for TOT but it was worth it. Then headed off to RNR and used my Fastpass. I was really surprised this time my head kept bouncing back & forth against the headrest and it was somewhat painful. I had to hold my brace away from my head to keep it from bouncin' around. This has never happened before, don't know why it happened this time. Anyway, on with the details.

After pin trading around MGM I headed for home...OKW. DH and DS's were camped out in bed eating sugar and salt and having a whoppin' good time while good ol' mom wasn't there to tell them what they couldn't eat. I am convinced (though he denies it) that DH spent at least $100 on junk food @ Walgreens, but that sugar did come in handy later that week. Anyway, we decided to go to DTD and see "Over the Hedge" Great movie BTW if you haven't seen it. After the movie I headed to my favorite store @ DTD, The Candy Cauldron and got freshly made Candy Apples..my absolute favorite place to get candy apples. They were actually making candy & caramel apples as we watched..what a treat. Since I don't have many pictures to add to this post, here is the Candy Cauldron sign..sorry so boring.
47b6d830b3127cce8a57413900ce00000016108AbtGzNy0YuW

You know I love it if I'm taking a picture of the sign :lmao:

After the sugarfest, we headed back home to OKW and got ready for the following morning...Pirate Cruise for the kids and arcade-o-rama for me & DH. More soon...

Since not too many pictures for our "rest" day, I added a few that have nothing to do with this day for you to enjoy..hope you like them..
I took this picture of Spaceship earth and a huge fountain spray occured right when I took it, I love this picture

Wishes is another favorite thing of mine. I've seen it countless times and only this trip did I realize that the castle was lit up as the sorcerers hat during the sorcerer mickey music. I'm sure everyone else already knew this, but for whatever reason, I never figured it out until this trip. Here is a great picture (for my camera anyway) of the hat and fireworks.

More coming soon....

Great pictures! Your boys are very handsome! Looks and sounds like a wonderful trip!

I love the Plaza Restaurant. Very good food, and reasonably priced for Disney.

Thanks for posting.

Kudos to your DH for thinking that up all by himself! I would love it if mine would do that! I just happen to be such a good planner that everyone always just looks to me for "whats" next... a blessing and a curse all in one! Great trip report! Sounds like you stayed for as long as we are going to be there in August... You have inspired me! Great Job!1 :thumbsup2

lionqueen - You are killing me. Now, I really can't wait until I leave this weekend.

As my weary eyes are trying to focus on the ceiling fan above my head I hear the lovely Stacy "The number 1 must see @ WDW is.." I wake up immediately to see what is the #1 Must see @ WDW. Are you kidding me? I've watched this show at least 20 times and know Exactly what the #1 attraction @ WDW is. For those who haven't gone yet this year...I'm not gonna' spoil it for you :teeth:

Anyway, I'm bright-eyed & bushy-tailed the second I gain full consciousness. The Really weird thing is that DH is already up, has coffee brewing and already showered :confused3 I look at him with the telepathic "What in Heck are you doing up before me" look. He looks back at me with the "Disney Daddy is back" look. Just a little background, DH was not always the Disney addict he is today. On a trip last year, on Spaceship Earth, he looked at me with a sort of crazed look and said "Honey, I get it now. I am officially Disney Daddy." I was SO happy and thought he was SUCH a dork all at the same time. In any event, he gained full-fledged Disney Addiction that trip, and whenever he gets his sleep and bearings, he flies into full-blown Disney Daddy status...anyway, little off track..on we go.

This morning was the Pirate Cruise from the Grand Floridian for the boys. They were ULTRA excited about this cruise as they had missed it last trip..long story, may go into it later. Besides, one of their favorite rides, Pirates of the Caribbean was being refurb'd and this was their chance to get a little "Pirate Magic". So, we get everyone cleaned up, except Disney Daddy who's had more caffeine than the Mountain Dew factory produces in a day, and is already...ready.

We hop into the car @ about 9:00 for the 9:45am check-in...again, Disney Daddy's caffeine buzz is getting a little out of control :dance3: , but we deal with it and we're off.

We reach GF about 10 minutes early and do some pin trading. Side note, for those other pin traders out there the BEST time of the day to pin trade is in the early morning, and the new CM's with the red "earning my ears" ribbons usually have great cast lanyard pins..anyway, off track again, sorry. So, we get to the GF early and are pin trading. We ask the very friendly staff where to go for the Pirate Cruise (here on out will be PC for ease of type) and they very kindly point us in the complete opposite direction :confused3 I don't know who is to blame, ME for not knowing a cruise would probably be at the dock, or HIM for working there and casually sending me to a kids club that is closed instead of the dock..hmm...I'll let you be the judge. In any event, we finally figured out that the boat and cruise will be at the dock :sad2: and made our way there. I checked in the boys and got their life vests & pirate hats. I've just got to say, seeing my boys in these adorable hats was nearly worth the cost of the cruise..they were so dang adorable. BTW, thank you for the comments on my kids, I really appreciate them!!

While we were waiting for the boat to load, they gave all the rules and information the kids/parents needed to know and we all got to stand on the dock for another 15 mins or so. While standing there, I took many pictures of all the kids (and mine of course) and caught this one when I got the pics developed. These are 2 of 4 pictures that made me cry instantly when I saw them. Sometimes you get the most precious memories by surprise, just had to share.

Alright Gushfest 2006 ended and everyone was getting ready to board. For those who may not know, the Pirate Cruise takes the kids around the Lagoon and they find treasure maps, hunt for treasure, dock on beaches and eventually find the treasure..very enjoyable for them. Somewhere along the way they are given lunch too. So, back to loading the boat. Now, some more background information. DS4 is VERY independent. I cannot remember a time that he ever had any hesitation to go with people other than us (not strangers of course). Like family, friends, he is the 1st one to say I wanna' go and the last one to want to come home. Actually, both boys are independent but especially the younger one. Hence, we had no apprehension whatsoever about them being ready to cruise. As they get on the boat
everyone takes their seats and us parents can watch them depart from the raised deck. Luckily, both boys sat together on a seat and they sat on the side we could see. The guides prepared the kids for the departure and said to say "Arghh" "bye bye you ol' swabbies" to the parents.
47b6d830b3127cce8a57229240cc00000016108AbtGzNy0YuW

All the kids did and the boat starting pushing off. As it was taking off, MUCH to my & DH's surprise, DS4 starts crying hysterically :guilty: . DH & I look at eachother a little concerned because this is NOT like him at all. The guide asks him (we could all hear very cleary they were still at the dock) what's wrong honey..he says "I wanna' stay with my parents". Everyone on the dock said a collective..."AAAHHH". I told him "Have fun honey, we'll be here when you get back" We could still hear him crying but knew it would only last about 10 more seconds, found out later it was really only about 5 seconds :teeth:

As soon as the kids were out of hearing distance, all the parent collectively grabbed their hats and visors and threw them up in the air with great delight...ok, they didn't, but I'm pretty sure everyone mentally did :rolleyes1 . Anyway, DH & I were thrilled to have a few hours alone. And guess where two grown adults with 2 hours alone @ a Grand Resort did?? You guessed it...took the Monorail over to the Contemporary and went to the arcade..isn't that what you were thinking??? :lmao:

We both got $20 cards and went crazy. I spent at least half of my card on Colorama. This is a very high tech game where a ball rolls around in a bowl shaped dome and you hit your button to stop the spinning and if it stops in the color you picked (5 colors to choose from) you win tickets. DH came over to me after about 30 minutes and did an intervention. He slowly separated me from the IV of Colorama and we headed over to Pinball baby. We are huge pinball fans and very competitive with eachother when it comes to pinball. It is so funny because DH is SO laid back and non-competitive in general, but he is "Pinball Wizard" at an arcade..go figure. Long story short, spent both of our cards and were on our way back to pick up the boys.

The guides told us that they would meet us right off the lobby and to be there no later than 11:45. We barely made it and got there @ 11:43..close one. Anyway, all the parents are waiting and then here all the kids come. The boat pulls up and the kids are buzzing!! They had a blast. They told us about everything they did, they found the treasure (of course) and DS4 never even remembered he was going to miss us. Oh well, in that moment I saw there really was a real boy in that adventurous shell.

So on with the rest of our day. We figured that since we already had parking taken care of with Valet, we would hit Magic Kingdom. I could go to MK every day of every trip and be perfectly happy! I am the one who concedes to go to other parks (all of which I love BTW). But whenever MK is offered, count me in. So, we get on the monorail and take the quick trek over. Rent a stroller and are gone. It is around 12:30 by this time and starting to get a little warmer. We usually do everything in the am to avoid the afternoon heat, but que sera sera.

We hit Tomorrowland this day. My favorite trick I've pulled on my family since forever is..."Mom, can we go to Tomorrowland" sure I say.."Tomorrow" It's so stupid and the boys think I'm such a nerd, but I say it everytime :smooth: Anyway today it's Tomorrowland. We hit Buzz Lightyear, and are lucky enough to get stopped right in the 1st room!! DH & I are ultra competitive here too....don't even worry about the kids' scores most of the time. Horrible Buzz addicted parents, we know :cloud9: So, me and DS8 are in PRIME position to hit the 100,000 point mark (back of big orange robots hand) I have it locked on and hit it over, and over and over. In the background I can hear DH mumbling something about cheating under his breath..don't know what or who he was talking about :rotfl2: . The the ride gets going again..my score....741,000!!

I spun around so DH could see the score. After a huge CHEATER comment he directed at someone behind him, I gloated in the glow in the dark heaven that was BL spaceranger spin. Much to my dismay, about 10 seconds later, my score disappears!! NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything was lost!! Yes I only got that score because of a malfunction but do you think it would be too much to ask to malfunction until the end at least?? GEESHH! Anyway, as you can guess, DH was thrilled and told me "that's what you get for cheating" OH, OK, Mr. "I was shooting like a madman trying to beat the cheater".

Had lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern which was DELICIOUS btw and saw Hall of Presidents and all of Liberty square. Did Country Bear Jamboree...all of us were constantly singing..."Blood on the Saddle and...Blood all around" (if you've never seen Country Bears, that is what Big Al sings, cracks us up!)
Rode Aladdin on the way to Dole Whips..DH is hopelessly addicted, I'm telling you. We shopped and pin traded up and down main street. Took a late afternoon break for the Contemporary Arcade..not as much fun with the kids constantly like.."Mom gimme' my card" Geesh kid, sorry I forgot it was in my pocket :rolleyes1 Played for a long time it seemed then made our way back to MK for Wishes. If I'm in MK vicinity within 2 hrs of Wishes, we're there.

Anyway, we stayed @ MK to see Wishes (my absolute favorite thing @ WDW right w/Haunted Mansion) cry every time, and then headed home.

My camera is not a super expensive one, so these are the best shots of Wishes I could get. I was happy with them though. We usually stand on the bridge to Tomorrowland, this is where these were taken.

More later...thanks for reading!

I love how your family just basically goes to whatever park they want no matter what day it is. Instead of going bam, bam, bam, from park to park (a new park each day) you are refreshingly partial to MK. Love it! Keep it comin. :surfweb:
